I came into Peppers Port Douglas a couple of times over the last few weeks for food and drink and can’t recommend it to anyone. The late afternoon/ evening bar staff are very unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling. The British lady on the bar, Hariott I think her name is, is the worst. Horrible attitude and inhospitable. It seems like asking for a drink is a chore which interrupts the constant chatting to the other staff, huffy and too self absorbed to actually want to serve customers. Exactly how you employ people with an attitude like that I have no idea - suggest you find someone else if you want the business! Popped in for breakfast as well and that was bad. 30 dollars for a sparse, scabby buffet that has seen better days. Toasters that don’t toast and climate warm fruit juice. Was thinking about potentially booking a room next time I’m in town but with that kind of horrendous staff attitude there’s no way. I’m not going to carry on contact on this - just a lesson learned not to bother again. Never again Peppers Port Douglas. Advise anyone and everyone to go to any other place in town, it’ll be much more pleasant.

Outstanding property and staff...very clean well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds. Located perfectly near beach and main st. The staff were wonderful and recommended it to anyone the pool area is stunning and waters the perfect temperature. Stay we stay with our adult children and all loved it..

We spent an incredibly relaxing 10 days, the room suited our family of 4 perfectly and was located right near the beach and pool which was great for our boys. The team were always attentive and friendly going out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. We will be booking again for next year!!
