I had an awful experience with my airline as they had canceled my flight for New Years Eve very last minute. I arrived at Mantra Terrace Noah & Aamiron managed to A) Make me feel at ease in what was a very stressful situation B) Assist me in my ongoing travel arrangements C) Went out of their way to help me (Even to making calls from personal mobiles to New Zeland - Which I could not do on my UK Registered phone). This is my second stay at this location in the last couple of years, and I really like the interaction between staff and guests here. Efecitively they run the bar, check in, and anything else guest wise you might need. I feel Human interaction is often discouraged by managment. That certainly is not the case here. Full marks once again for professionalism and the way that an international traveller was handled. I think it would be great if they could implement breakfast at this location. But it is not the end of the world.

Mantra may not be competing with the luxurious executive hotels, but it is definitely better than many of them. Rooms are modern and perfect for that quick stay. Larger suites are perfect for longer stays or just because you want more space. The staff, what can I say... This is why I labelled this review "Happiness". They all meet you with a smile and can do attitude. Polite and responsive to your needs, even give their time just to say hi and have a chat. Thank you to Zoe and the magnificent team for making my stay feel like home, pure happiness...

Easy walk to the CBD. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a bit small for an 8 night stay. Some days (2) the room was not serviced. Quite well priced. Some good dining options nearby as well as a grossly overpriced convenience store which stocks all the important necessities.

Male receptionist on sat afternoon was rude,patronising and unhelpful - other staff should train him to be nice to all guests but especially returning ones - room was tiny with horrible soft pillows - no water available sat night in reception for residents ,..all bit poor

Third time I have stayed here this year. Despite this the young Asian man on reception on sat afternoon very abruptly demanded photo ID (never been asked before ) and a $50 deposit -when I asked why he just sneered and said " in case things go missing " ?! Rude. Also no water in any of the fountains at reception Sat night .Finally room was so small one side of the ( v small double ) bed was wedged against the window - the pillows are also soft as marshmallow - no support . Rest of the staff were friendly and professional to be fair but this guy has utterly put me off rebooking -trust me, nothing in that shoe box I would want to walk off with !
