I love Sofitel. This hotel is beautiful, and it's in an excellent location. 30 floors, overlooking ANZAC Square and right in the middle of the shopping precinct. So many cars and restaurants nearby too, and not far from South Bank. I only stayed one night, so I booked a King room. It had a soft bed, mini bar, and a bath. My room overlooked Anzac Square too. And I could see the pool and spa pool from my room. The service at the hotel was as good as it always is at Sofitel. I did not eat in the restaurant, but when I walked past, everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves, and the food looked good. They have Valet parking for $60 a night.Lucky I just ubered from the airport! (Which is only about 20 minutes drive away)

We stayed here post COVID and it was old and dirty and vowed never to stay there again. Given I am an Accor member I decided that after 4-5 years things must have improved. How wrong I was!! Rooms on the high floor (28+) are old, shabby, the aircon isn’t effective and generally you feel they are limping this sad product for as long as they can. Sofitel is meant to be a prestige brand and yet this is not being represented by the Brisbane Sofitel - shut it down and refurbish it!

Thank you for making our first stay in Brisbane a fantastic one. From the moment we stepped in to your wonderful reception area we felt welcome, looked after, respected and at home. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The reception staff are amazing and so helpful. Breakfast is probably the best breakfast ever - the service, choice and quality of food and drinks is fabulous. The bar and bar staff were great - fun to talk to and offered amazing hospitality to a couple of Brits spending their first Christmas and New Year in Australia. There is a lovely pool area on the 3rd floor. The hotel location is also great with easy access to the train station below the hotel which is so convenient for visiting surrounding areas but also getting back to the airport, just brilliant. We really can't wait to return. Thank you Sofitel.

Literally above Brisbane Central Station with escalators direct into the hotel lobby. (No noise though). Room on 26th floor was spotless. Bed so comfortable. Rooms could do with an update but it was so clean that this didn’t matter. Food was amazing, probably the best steak I have ever and helpful .had. Breakfast had everything you could want. Cocktails and canapés pre dinner was a really lovely experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful, special mention to Rhianne.

Nice hotel needs a couple of tweaks

Nice hotel rooms were a little dated. This place has two restaurants and these were both good. Staff were friendly despite having some issues with our room. (Damaged bed). This was promptly rectified and we moved to another room. Had an issue checking out the bill was more than double what it should have been but we worked through that.
