OK, but a bit spartan

The room I had was a one-bedroom apartment, that was a bit lightly furnished – basic 2-seater couch, TV, coffee table, and small square dining table. No separate work desk, which was an issue for a business trip. The online photos online look modern, but the furniture in my specific room wasn't as wonderful. No TV, or desk, or luggage rack, or spare chair in the bedroom – I dragged one in from the lounge room. Bathroom was very recently renovated and clean. Kitchen was clean and functional with microwave, oven, and a full-sized fridge. The location is not great for a business trip as it's on the north-eastern edge of the CBD – at least 10 mins walk to Central Station, or any decent restaurants, and another couple mins to Queen Street Mall. Their restaurant/cafe is currently closed for renovations, so it was hard to get a quick bite of breakfast before work, but there is a full-size Woolworths around the corner from the main driveway entrance, which solved the problem. The front desk service staff were great and very helpful – reception closes around 11pm, so remember your room key! My first night was booked for me at a corporate rate, so I didn't get to choose the hotel, and probably wouldn't have for a business trip based on the location and the standard rate I paid for the second night, although I was offered an upgrade to match for the first night, so kudos for that.

Good location but bad room experience. Checked in and relaxed for a few hours and when went for a shower we had no hot water. Called reception and was told they would get back to us. 10 mins later no callback so called them again and was told can not get hold of Manager of maintenance. Finally got a call back and was advised we could go down to level 7 from level 20 if we wanted a hot shower. Took a very quick cold shower. The single worst Accor site we have ever stayed in and would not recommend to anyone. Had a spa in the room that did not work just to top it off.

Excellent location in Brisbane. So close to most places of interest. 450 mrters walj to Brisbane Central Train Station. Just 500 meters to the restaurant hub of Howard Smith Wharf. Queensland Performing Arts Centre QPAC is 2 km away. One km to famous Queen Street Mall. Clean rooms. Very friendly front office staff.

SCAMMERS Don’t Go to this awful place Mantra are affiliated with scammers who charged the fees in $US and have refused to refund the enormous overpriced fee of over $800. They are a disgraceful company and have ruined my holiday. Save your money and choose a hotel that doesn’t have to cheat people

nice staff, musty room

Reception staff were great. Location is good. Our room smelled musty so we left the window open, Our key stopped working so we had to go and get it recharged. The car park is a real maze with poles everywhere. This would all have been more annoying if the reception staff hadn't been so nice.
