Mantra Sun City Surfers Paradise

I really enjoyed my weekend away. Pretty much above expectations. The room and the reception staff were exemplary. Breakfast was adequate, but I was disappointed there was not the option of a hot breakfast.

Enjoyed our stay with Mantra Sun City Staff were amazing, however one staff member did go over and beyond for us and nothing was to much for her to handle, we didn't get her name but she is from New Zealand. Thank you lovely lady for your wonderful efforts, we need more hotels and staff like you around

Best part - The pools and spas. Awesome! Kids will love it. Just be careful of the water slide because it moves you at rocket speed. Life guard on duty that takes the job seriously which is important with kids. Could spend all day in the spa. Gym is well equiped. Only negative on the indoor spa is the roof is badly in need of repair and looks very creepy. However, the spa is great. The room - I booked a one bedroom with no ocean view. Also, requested an updated modern one (you know like the pictures you see on the website). I was upgraded to an ocean view which wasn’t updated. Verdict? The view far out weighs the modern looking room. Location is great. Walked across the road 100m to surf every morning. Top tip? Disregard the web photos because you likely won’t get a room that looks anything like that so save yourself the likely disappointment. However, the rooms are still pretty awesome because they’re huge, and definitely, definitely spend extra for an ocean view!!! Overall? Recommended if you want resort style accomodation with 3 pools, 2 spas, good gym, sauna, steam room, great views prime location. And of course good service. All requests were catered to promptly 👌

Beautiful and spacious apartment, it had everything we needed, excellent facilities, kids loved the swimming pools and slides. Staff were very accommodating and our large family were able to visit and utilize the facilities with us. Allowed us to have a fabulous Christmas with our whānau/family. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you again

Mantra resorts on the Gold Coast are many and this property in particular is awesome! This is a fantastic location for a family holiday. Rooms are spacious and well equiped, large enough for even a large family or large group. We loved the hotel theme and the hydro slides and multitude of pools, both indoor and outdoor, gym, tennis courts, hot tubs, sauna, and the pool bar. The only issue was the lack of a real restaurant. There is a breakfast restaurant open for a very basic continental breakfast from 7am to 9:30 (10am for coffees), but that's it. Pool bar is open 1pm to 5pm most days and 7pm on Friday/Saturday, so not open very long. The property is well located and easy to get to everything, with most restaurants, beach, shops within easy walking distance, and it has a tram stop right outside the property. Within easy driving distance to all the theme parks and it's very easy to navigate from the property. We would definitely consider staying at this property again or one of the other Mantra properties in the area. It was one of the best family holidays we've ever had. They made us feel right at home and recognised our Accor Platinum status as well.
