Stayed 2 nights rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms downstirs and large upstairs loung was great.Views out over the lake outstanding.

Very disappointing. Had no idea from the website that villa ment two levels ( my wife has mobility issues), arrived at 5:30 pm told dinner was now or 7:45 pm because a group of 14 arrived - really?.Room hard to find because numbers missing on white post outside - maintenance. Reported heater in bathroom not working, 3 days later still not fixed. All this for $500+ a night - not good enough.

Our One Bedroom Suites are designed across two levels, and this is noted within the room description on our website and booking platforms. However, I do apologise if this was not clear during the booking process, particularly given your wife’s mobility requirements. Had our team been made aware during your stay that the suite configuration was unsuitable, I am confident we would have been able to discuss alternative room options or an upgrade to better accommodate your needs. I would also like to apologise for any confusion regarding your dinner reservation. After reviewing our booking system and discussing with the team, we still held a reservation for you at 6:30pm that evening. Nevertheless, I appreciate there may have been some miscommunication at the time, and I am sorry for any frustration caused. Regarding the bathroom heater, I apologise this was not resolved during your stay. This certainly should have been followed up more promptly by our maintenance team. Finally, thank you for your comments regarding the room numbering and signage. We have recently completed upgrades to much of our property signage, though we do appreciate your feedback and will continue reviewing areas that may be difficult to navigate for guests. We do value all guest feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can continue improving both our service and facilities.. My colleague and I were in Tekapo for a work event and were running terribly late due to mess up off the event venue. Martha helpoed us checkin and drove the buggy to our respective rooms and we jumpoed back in and everything was better in under 5 minutes. She is a gem.
