This is a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location which is a blemish on the Peppers brand. It is a 1990’s hotel which needs a renovation. You don’t renovate a bathroom by putting in a new bathtub. Your tiles and floors are old. Your shower screen has gaps that leak water into the toilet area. There is no safe deposit box. The bedroom layout is wrong, power points and coffee maker are inconveniently positioned and room is very small with a noisy air-conditioner. I am not sure why there is a half painted head board in the room. This has to be the worst Peppers I have stayed in. It is worth half the rate they are charging.

Beautiful area, but room very small & rather dated, and dinner not the best.

Rooms screaming for an upgrade - think cracked bathroom sink, scratched and worn out furniture, dented refrigerator, towels thin and frayed. Budget accommodation at a high price, benefits included the cheapest toilet paper on the market, cleaning products where the chemical smell hit you in the face as you came in, poor quality bathroom products, rocket bottom kitchen supplies (could only afford to provide 2 black teabags) and horrible UHT milk. In the bedroom you had a choice of no natural light or no privacy - sheer curtains would have been very welcome as you could be seen from the street. Reception staff on the other hand were excellent and the unit was roomy. View of lake from upstairs was pleasant. We intended having dinner and breakfast there but dinner thankfully was booked out and we weren't risking breakfast.
