Room 703. Overall, the experience didn’t quite match expectations given the price point. I appreciate that the staff member who gave directions to my room was in training, but the directions given on the map provided wern't clear and I ended up going around the back of the property near the bus and maintenance areas, which wasn’t a great first impression. The property is quite dimly lit. I understand this may be for guest comfort and that it’s in a dark sky reserve, but arriving and driving through at night made it difficult to see where I was going. I was also asked to pay a $100 bond on arrival. While I understand this is refundable, it felt a bit out of place given the standard and cost of the hotel. The room itself was very small, smaller than expected even for a compact room and the cost for 1 night accommodation. There were also a couple of housekeeping issues - a pie left in the fridge from a previous guest, and a small carton of milk, which made it unclear whether it had been properly checked between guests, or if the milk was complementary. I wasn't confident to use it. Overall, a few details that, taken together, affected the experience more than they should have. The location is great. I also had issues with the overall charge for my stay. While it's immaterial, I still landed up paying more than I had agreed to.

the room was fine. cookwares were ample, though the range hood was weak. as a platinum member, no upgrade or late checkout. the frontdesk staff refused to provide folio at checkout, claiming that I booked though accor's official app, which was a "third-party platform", and therefore, they had no information about my total spending, neither could they apply points toward my stay.
