Returned to Mantra after 9 years as my family had a memorable stay in 2015. We had the same experience, cosy and warm. Though I hope in another 9 years the place should be a sprucing up! Will return for sure when we visit Tekapo.

The house was comfortable, but it's clear that cleaning was not done thoroughly and the facilities are old. Spider webs inside and outside the house, with a rusty oven - not a good look for this price. While it was nice to have an outdoor area, it was clearly not cleaned for a long time. There was only 1 shower - which is strange for a house that it meant for 4 to 5 people.

Apart from the garage opener not working , which may have been deliberate as some parts of the apartment was locked and out of bounds, this apartment was stunning. I wish we’d stayed two nights 😀

Well located, very comfortable house. Driveway is very narrow for large cars. Some appliances is old and useful, but not function properly. For a short stay, it does not bother much.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed. The resort is close to Lake Tekapo. The room are very big, spacious & comes with all facilities. The kitchen has all the utensils, glasses, pans, etc. We got 4 bedroom villa. 1 room on lower floor & 3 bedroom on first floor. The washrooms were very clean, living area is very big, it also has private garden fitted with chairs & Tables. Overalls it has everything that we need. We will come again soon.
