We stayed one night and found out the bug bites the next day. My son got itchy bites in the tummy and mine was on the back of my shin. Don’t think we’d stay again

We stayed with another couple and the rooms were fitted with plenty comfy seating, and spacious. It’s our 2nd stay in 2 years and only issue we’ve had is broken slates on beds which we resolved comfort but filling hole / dip with spare pillow . Staff were helpful and said replacement ordered. 2 different apartments and same issue . Overall would return as warm handy and homely spaces .

The property is nice, well equipped and suitable for a family or friends stay, however the bathrooms need a good clean, visible black mold is present within the showers and needs to be cleaned to be safe. Otherwise, great luxuries with a large TV and amenities.

It offers convenient access to the Raound Hill Ski Resort and features a layout that allows the family to relax comfortably. It has a proper garage with a roof, so car windows don't freeze over—meaning you can head out immediately for early morning departures. If I had to ask for one more thing, since heat tends to rise to the second floor, I think having underfloor heating on the first floor would make it even more comfortable.

We enjoyed the stay very much, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the location is close to the town centre. I’d like to specifically say thank you to both Pawanesh and the cleaning lady from Taiwan (sorry I didn’t get to ask her name), who is super friendly, and helped us heaps when our rental car has a punctured tire. They both spent times to assist us in many ways and Pawanesh even followed it through with a text message to ensure we arrived at our next destination safely. This exemplary service is simply showcased how friendly the staffs are, and how they would go far and beyond to assist the customers. Regards Franky R

This is disappointing for us to read, as our team did make every effort to recognise your loyalty, including arranging an early check-in at 12:30pm for your guests arriving before you, providing a late check-out due to the road conditions, and organising a welcome amenity for your guests, which we understood was well received at the time. Regarding the welcome drink, we sincerely apologise if this caused disappointment. As advised prior to arrival, Mantra Lake Tekapo does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, which unfortunately means we are unable to provide welcome drinks in the same way as some other Accor properties. We are also sorry to hear that you felt the service and amenities fell short. We were really disappointed. We had to leave early and I contacted prior to our stay and was told that no refund would be issued due to the package we purchased. We arrived to cold weather (yes it was winter and forcasted to snow) to find the wall heater in the lounge did not work and then the gas fire did not work. We rang reception after 7 o'clock and yes someone did come. He looked at the wall unit and gas fire and had no idea how to fix it. He said "he shook the gas bottle" and yes the gas fire did alight only for a moment and he left. At 9.50 the gas fire completely turned off. It was cold!! Upstairs was nice and warm and when we came down in the morning it was snowing and downstairs was freezing. On our way out we stopped at reception and the manager came to the unit straight away. His explanation was that some gas fires were on timers and it was cold weather. He did not belive that the fire was not fireing and then told us that the gas fires were on Mains after we had explained what the man had said the previous night. He did not know that the wall heater did not go. I also pointed out that one light bulb was faulty as it would only flicker and not switch off. He asked if we would like to move next door we said yes. So we did. As we moved in next door I noticed that the sink tap was leaking water all over the bench. I ranged the manager again and told him about this. He organised a plumber to come and fix this. We understood that the plumber could not fix it during our stay. The manager gave us some towels to mop up/soak up the water. There was no hand towel in the bathroom downstairs. The benches and table needed a good wash down. It felt like the cleaning had been done upstairs and downstairs had been left. The gas fire worked and so did the heat pump downstairs. Would I come back...No!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mantra Lake Tekapo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with an excellent location just a short walk from the lake and town centre. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Pravnish (not sure if I spelled his name correctly). He went above and beyond to help us order dinner after we arrived, and they also kindly arranged doorstep pickup and drop-off for our evening stargazing tour, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. HIs friendliness, attentiveness and genuine willingness to help made us feel incredibly well looked after. It is this level of hospitality that turns a great stay into a memorable one. Thank you to the wonderful team at Mantra Lake Tekapo for making our visit so enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to New Zealand.

Great family stay in Lake Tekapo! Our 2-bedroom apartment was huge — two floors, garage, and courtyard. Full kitchen let us cook our own meals, way better than restaurants. Heated floors kept us toasty in winter. Walking distance to the lake and church. Stunning night skies right outside. Highly recommend!
