Rooms are looking very tired, the 1 person on bar duty the nights I was there was barely at the bar, the scotch fillet I ordered was a rump steak, and the lower floors need better sound proofing.

Dear Mantra Parramatta Team, I recently stayed at the Mantra Parramatta from the 9th to the 11th of December (reservation number: QAJ9V47NT). Unfortunately, I encountered an issue during my stay that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. On the morning of the 10th, there was no hot water available in my room. Upon discovering this, I called reception. The team member who answered my call was not particularly apologetic about the situation and simply mentioned that maintenance had been contacted before ending the call without asking if there was anything further they could do to assist me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including in developing countries, and this is the first time I have experienced a lack of hot water. While I understand that maintenance issues can arise, the absence of reliable hot water is, in my view, unacceptable. This was my first time staying at the Mantra, as I frequently visit Parramatta for work and wanted to try something new. I also booked a future stay with you from the 6th of January (reservation number: QA7M2WXPY). After this experience, my initial reaction was to cancel the upcoming booking and seek alternative accommodation. However, I decided to share my feedback with you first to give your team an opportunity to address the issue and take steps to improve my experience. I hope you will consider acknowledging this challenge and making amends for the inconvenience caused during my recent stay. For example, a complimentary meal or other service added to my next booking would demonstrate your commitment to guest satisfaction. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
