Friendly staff, clean room only to discover on retiring for the night that we had no doona or blankets to keep us warm. We tried to lift the room temperature, however, the thermostat appeared to be fixed at a maximum of 21C. The thermostat clock was not showing the correct time. After contacting the staff we were willingly given 2 blankets. These were old a. initiated an adverse reaction to my wife. Also myself having a cpap machine this compounded the issue in that the powerpoint was hidden behind the bed leg, very difficult to access. After having paid for breakfast we were told that breakfast was not available on that day. We went around the corner to the local cafe where it cost us $76! Apart from that we nonetheless enjoyed the experience. Colin

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay and would like to bring the following concerns to your attention. Upon checking in at 5pm, we dropped off our luggage and returned later, only to find that the main light was inoperable due to a missing bulb and one bedside lamp was malfunctioning. Unfortunately, night reception staff was unavailable to address these issues, necessitating preparation in the dark. At checkout, I showed a photo and reported these problems to reception staff, but regrettably, they failed to acknowledge or respond. I look forward to receiving your response to the above complaint.

Parking charges up for complimentary next year to $40 Breakfast quality wasn’t good before but dreadful now. No breakfast voucher, not told on check in. Just tough luck. No upgrade or better room. Poor excuse.

As an added benefit for our members, we offer a discounted rate of $40 per night, which aligns with other inner-city hotels. Unfortunately, an upgrade wasn’t available as you had booked our highest room category, but we will definitely review our check-in process to ensure all information, including breakfast details, is communicated clearly.
