Booked well in advance to save on a non refundable booking but 3 weeks before our stay it was cheaper to stay in a superior room. To add to that on arrival we are told there will be no hot water for a much needed shower. No morning hot shower either as it would only be fixed by 11am the next day. This would be made up for in the dining experience we were lead to believe. Not really though. With no gas cooking facilities there's not much on offer to say the least. All in all I would not stay there again. Our experience left a bad taste so we would never return. I love giving good reviews. This time I can't.

When you booked, you would have viewed our current pricing at the time and opted for the non-refundable rate, which offered a discount. Unfortunately, with dynamic pricing, just like booking a seat on a plane, prices can fluctuate due to various factors. This sometimes results in flash sales or changes in rates, leading to an increase or decrease in pricing. We understand the frustration of booking well in advance to secure a discounted non-refundable rate, only to find a lower rate for a superior room closer to your stay. We acknowledge that this can be disappointing and inconvenient. In future we would recommend booking a flexible rate should you come across another rate you prefer you would be able to cancel and re-book at the lower rate. Regarding the hot water issue, we sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and the inconvenience it caused. We understand how important a hot shower is, especially after a long journey, and we are sorry for the disruption to your plans. The gas problem that affected our kitchen facilities also impacted the dining experience we could offer. We regret that our efforts to provide an alternative dining experience fell short of your expectations. We are continually working to improve our services and appreciate your understanding during this challenging time. We are sorry that your stay left you with a negative impression and that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We value your feedback as it helps us to improve our services for future guests. Thank you once again for your feedback.
