Location good Room was nice, however we stayed 5 nights with no housekeeping - understand not having housekeeping every day, but at least once during the stay would have been reasonable. The breakfast was very average, definitely would not pre purchase in future. Staff were fantastic - definitely the best asset of the hotel, friendly and helpful. Laundry is a great option , which we used. Pool area lovely, however would be nice if spa was a couple of degrees warmer in the cooler months. Maintenance works - understand sometimes work needs to be undertaken, however building works were noisy and meant we had to leave the hotel rather than relax by the pool ?which was our plan on a couple of days) - would have been good to know about planned work in advance of stay

The rooms are fresh and modern and the surrounds clean and quiet. The only thing is i wish the pool was heated. Restaurant staff were friendly and amazing but would have been nice to have service around the pool.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable despite their age. Close to public transport which takes you to the heart of town as well. The only let down was the breakfast food was a bit disappointing - whilst there was variety, the eggs tasted powdered and awful and the slices and sweets were wholesale bought and tasteless (e.g., caramel slice..if you closed your eyes you’d have no idea what you were eating).

All staff interactions were excellent- reception, restaurant. Location great and easy to get to town on bus. Only feedback is to please move the beds and vacuum underneath and clean the vents in the bathroom on a more regular basis. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss but there was always something to enjoy.

Rooms were pleasant and good location. Aircon was however not working. It was hot and I spoke to the front desk and they said maintenance would come. I am insure if that attended or not but it was cooler outside than it was inside the room. It was rather uncomfortable getting ready for a black tie wedding.

Some staff were great, but most were rude, condescending and dismissive. Particularly the older man who may have been the manager. They would not accommodate any request that was out of the ordinary and queried my request for twin beds because 'it was not on file'

The room was at the front of the hotel, and the traffic noise is quite noticeable, but had a nice view. The hotel was starting to look a little tired in places. The restaurant had a good selection on the menu and was well presented and tasted great.

Disappointing room size. When we checked in double bed for my son & I to sleep in together. He is 16 yo & very large. Also doesn't want to sleep with his 55 yo morher

Staff were friendly, though rooms do not look as nice as the photos. Very tired and a dirty bathroom. Housekeeping service very poor, only serviced once in a 7 day stay, and linen not changed.
