Mantra 2 Bond Street - Sydney

Excellent Hotel in the centre of Sydney. Lovely room with great facilities:- fridge, tea/coffee, small carton of milk and toiletries etc. Apartment with kitchen, washing machine and tumbler dryer. Small juliette balcony. Great rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzi. Staff fantastic and room cleaned, towels changed everyday if you wished. Reasonably priced restaurants near by recommended by Hotel staff. Supermarket close to Hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is excellent - tram stops outside the hotel. 10 minute walk maximum to circular quay. Shopping mall across the road with a Woolworths inside. Room had everything- ask for a high level not on the club/disco side. We were woken by late night revellers on a couple of occasions.

We chose the Mantra for its location and the facilities afforded by our 11th floor executive studio apartment. It is less than 5 minutes walk to Circular Quay and about 10 to darling Harbour. The clean and comfortable room had everything needed for a weeks stay, and had city views. The12th floor rooftop pool, although not the largest, was pleasant and you could see the harbour and the bridge through the buildings. We stayed over New Years Eve and when the pre-booked taxi failed to appear, the duty manageress went out of her way to flag one down so that we didn't miss our harbour dinner cruise. We had a very pleasant stay helped by the friendly and helpful staff, especially Dylan. We would not hesitate to book in again next time we are in Sydney.

Firstly we took a train to Wynyard as Mantra is close by. Quick check in and lovely staff. We weren’t worried about the brick wall as a view as it’s dark in the morning and was quiet apart from a couple of passers by during the late evening. Kitchen well equipped for cooking but why bother when the restaurants at The Rocks are a 10 minute flat walk!!. Awesome pool Level 18 so go at night to catch a breeze and overlook the city for some down time. Loved our stay! Room size is very good and nicely laid out. With the light rail outside the door it made getting around the city so easy. Definitely worth staying.

What a way to spend a weekend interstate. Friendly staff, great location and very clean and well presented room. The welcome note and treats were a special touch. A La carte breakfast was a good change from the usual boring buffet offering. Overall a great experience
