We were greeted on arrival by the most friendly and efficient member of staff. We needed the lift to access the floor we were on and when I expressed my fear of lifts (and my husband's dislike of them) a helpful member of staff accompanied us so we could get used to it. It was worth it because the view from the room was spectacular. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The hotel is centrally located and is handy for amenities around the river. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff again were so helpful and courteous.

This is our 3rd visit in two years. We normally book around 10 rooms and the hotel is always a easy and comfortable booking. The staff are helpful and courteous. This is the only hotel we stay at in Newport.
