The Hotel Mercure is ideally situated by the railway station and the tram. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, great fruit, pastries and savoury options, plenty of coffee and an amazing selection of teas. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kettle for tea and coffee.

A wonderful two day stay which gave access to the city and the surrounds from right outside the door. The hotel is very well located and the normal greyness associated with being close to a train station is not the case at all. Lots of great restaurants around if you want to get some variety.

Last minute accommodation needed for two wet Aussie mid-bike touring trip. We were welcomed at the cosy reception area by friendly staff, and the storage of our bikes was no issue at all. The whole experience was wonderful.
