Mercure Albury doesn't have the 4 star feeling of most other Mercure Hotels I've stayed in. The room felt plain and neglected - and the toilet roll holder would be at home in public toilets. Scuff marks and damage on the wall. The luggage trolley needing repair. Generally uninspired. Staff very good though

As an ACCOR member since 2026, I have found the Albury Mercure amongst the top Mercure hotels in which my wife and I have stayed. Conveniently located off the Main Street, with ample parking, it offer the traveller many home comforts. The room are always clean and tidy with plenty of cupboards along with a place for any travel bags to be placed to save continually bending. The bathroom is roomy, especially for a toiletry bag adjacent to the copious sink area, whilst the shower cubicle not only possesses soap, shampoo and conditioner but room to move. The bed is always comfortable and the new lift works well. The standard and quality of booth evening and breakfast meals are varied to suit any traveller’s palate. As always I feel very welcomed each time Vishnu is on duty. He is well dressed, polite and very familiar with each menu item. He possesses a wonderful memory when taking orders and make an enjoyable flat white for my wife. This last visit I was welcomed by Katelain who proved very understanding and hospitable. Why would I not return to the Mercure Albury when travelling in this area of the Riverina.
