The lobby is beautiful and the rooms spacious, but that's about it. I stayed in the 21st floor and the noise from outside was unbelievable. The second and third night there was construction work all night, and we just could not sleep - it was as if we were in the middle of the construction itsef. Moreover, we were shocked when we asked for drinking water and the reception staff (a young woman with a bad attitude) said tthe only alternative was bottled water from the minibar, at a ludicrous cost of USD 2 per small bottle. This is outright unacceptable - every hotel in Brazil knows the water from the tap is not drinkable, and provides filtered water free of charge to guests. In short, when I book a hotel I expect, at the very minimum, two things: quiet/comfort, and necessary items for survival (such as water, a toilet, etc.). I got none of those. The bathroom was rather small and the drain did not work well; finally, breakfast was 'bare bones' and didnt even had fresh coffe - only a ready made machine. Would not stayed again even if I was paid to do so.

My room had a terrible AirCon noise, although mine was off. I could not sleep. I have videos if you like to hear. Although I liked the hotel, I won't come back...

Noisy, a lot of noise at night. Several constructions in the suroundings. Also a lot of noise during the day, due to constructions inside the hotel. The internet was really bad. The gym and breakfast were good.

Good accomodation, breakfast and location. The only issue I can point out is that there was no hot water in the shower one of the days I stayed there.

overall a very good stay. spacious rooms, new interior. the pool is quite small and only to relax. It would be good to provide ea couple of bottles water and the internet was not working well, causing many log in attempts in each section of the hotel.

I was really surprised by how welcoming the check-in staff was as well as the restaurant guys. All extremely courteous. Checkout however wasn’t as pleasant, I was asked several times to confirm the extra expenses I had in the room - which were none. The staff seemed very frustrated and kept asking over and over. That showed a big lack of how to handle situations.

We stayed 9 days and loved it. Stayed on the 22 floor. Hotel has great pool, gym and sauna on roof. Our room was great, comfy with a nice sized bed and balcony---they should really show in pics of room. The free breakfast was in the attached restaurant and offered various food to coffee and we loved it. Many restaurants close by to walk to, and very safe. And for the price, you cannot beat this hotel, upscale without being stuffy. So glad we chose this hotel (got a look at others in area and this was the best)

No value for the money and some staff did not made any efforts to help frequent customers of Accor chain. Needs urgent renovation and noise reduction on the apartments. Otherwiese its a very fine location and the breakfest is honest.

Staff was very friendly, fast check in and check out. The building is going through improvements, as it was recently bought by Accor. It will have the Grand Mercure flag soon. Due this process, the pool and terrace were closed. Bed was very comfortable, the shower had low water pressure.Breakfast better than average, but nothing outstanding.
