Everything was excellent

The resort is great - location, accommodations, friendly staff, food is really good and there are different varieties of it. What I find different about this resort - it is very clean. No garbage or food around pools, cafeteria is exceptionally neat . All is very well organized and easy to find. We liked Kids Club and evening performances for kids. Just be careful in the Market store - check item prices and totals. :) Thank you for the pleasant vacation.

Overall, it was a good experience. However, we were very disappointed by the service especially in Turquoise restaurant. We waited for long time for drinks and nobody was taking care of us. In addition, the personnel was not friendly overall. Except the ones in the pool. They were friendly. We had troubles in our hotel room, there were ants, they did not leave some stuff several times etc. We were expecting higher quality compared to the prices.

We relaxed and truly felt spoilt by this great hotel and staff, was very enjoyable stay.

Our 18 days stay at Rixos Premium Bodrum was generally very pleasant. Overall, we were satisfied, and both the hotel and its staff left a warm, welcoming impression. We would especially like to highlight the exceptional service and attentiveness of Mehmet Can on the beach, the team at the main restaurant, the staff at Godiva, and Mert from the sports team. 1. Location & Surroundings The hotel is situated in an exceptionally picturesque location with stunning sea views. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the beach is kept very clean, and the water is crystal clear. 2. Dining & Food The food quality is good and varied initially. However, during a longer stay (we stayed for 3 weeks), the menu begins to feel repetitive, as it is clearly built on a 7-day cycle. * Suggestion for Breakfast: We strongly recommend adding a proper "Healthy Corner" to the breakfast selection—featuring chia pudding, overnight oats, and plain fresh sliced avocado (rather than an unappetizing guacamole-style paste). 3. Evening Entertainment The evening entertainment program is in serious need of an update. Since the show schedule operates on a strict weekly loop, we started seeing repeat performers by our second week. Furthermore, the daily rotation of local Turkish singers quickly became monotonous. In conversations with other guests, the lack of variety in evening shows was a frequent complaint. We would love to see more dynamic, high-quality international acts—such as circus performances, professional dance troupes, and theatrical shows. 4. Teenager Program (Ages 13–16) Currently, the hotel offers virtually nothing for teenagers. Our 14-year-old daughter found herself with no dedicated options: * She was too old for the Rixi Club (which caters to younger children). * Sports activities like Paddling and Fly Yoga have a 16+ age limit. * When we asked Guest Relations what activities were available for her age group, their only suggestion was Sony PlayStation. In an era where parents actively try to reduce screen time, video games should not be the sole option for teens at a 5-star resort. Recommendation: We strongly advise creating a dedicated Teenage Club (similar to the one at Rixos Tekirova), managed by an energetic, experienced coordinator who can organize group activities, tournaments, workshops, and sports to keep teens engaged. 5. Safety Concern (Sports Pool Area) We urge management to address a safety hazard near the sports pool. The combination of wood and concrete surfaces becomes extremely slippery when wet, especially when guests walk barefoot after activities like paddling. During our stay, we witnessed a woman slip and hit her head severely. This requires immediate attention to prevent future injuries. 6. Smoking Policy & Hookah Service on the Beach The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the smoking situation. Attending evening shows was almost intolerable for non-smokers and families with children due to heavy smoke from cigars, cigarettes, vapes, and hookahs on all sides. The hotel desperately needs a dedicated Non-Smoking Zone during evening events. Furthermore, on one of our final days, hotel staff set up and served several hookahs to guests directly on the beach, right next to where people were relaxing. When we raised this issue, the hotel responded by stating that Turkish law permits smoking in open-air areas, limiting their ability to intervene. However, we must clarify: while Turkish law allows outdoor smoking, it does NOT force the hotel to actively deliver and set up hookahs directly on the main beach—especially when the resort already features a dedicated, beautiful Hookah Lounge. Serving hookahs directly on the beach is a management choice, not a legal obligation, and it significantly compromises the comfort of guests with children. Summary Rixos Bodrum has incredible potential, a breathtaking setting, and a hard-working team. However, to truly live up to the high standards of the Rixos brand, management needs to focus on teenager engagement, pool deck safety, and protecting non-smoking guests.

The food quality seemed to have degraded a lot since last year; lots of turkey meat in grill now during evenings and lunches

Guest relation desk didnt return for our request even negative.service staff at beach was not enough.activities in kids club was very and lack of people. Food quality is premium , view is fantastic , rooms are very clean. Night activities are poor.only concert between 9:30-11:00 pm and thats all with limited seat.

It was a great stay for a young family. Sea was great and food was delicious. We will stay at Rixos Premium Bodrum again.

I want to say special Thanks to Magda from Kids Club! She was very energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly! kids loved her! she did everything for kids to be happy and comfortable!

The outside is clear and new. However, when it comes to the room is really old and not clean. After they changed our room, the room had a really bad smell, the floor wasn’t clean. I had to talk to them multiple times to do simple thing like cleaning the room. Which should be done before our stay. The pictures all mainly for everything except the rooms. And I told them it should be renovated. And the said it is already renovated and this is really didn’t make any sense. It was really bad.

My first time at Rixos. Grandparents plus one grandkid. Nice, beautiful sceenery. Gym and spa team very professional. Kinds club at optimal performance. Restaurant: good food nevertheles a bit of noisy by the presence of so many kids, even babies. Extra beds need to be improved: better mattres.

It was all around a magnificent experience. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. No matter which restaurant you were at or what you wanted, they were always smiling and happy to serve.

We visited as a group of 8 celebrating our daughters after their exams. We were looked after really well and enjoyed our stay.

Had a really lovely week at Rixos Bodrum. We've stayed at many Rixos hotels in Turkey, UAE, Croatia and Egypt and this one really stood out for it's relaxing vibes. The rooms are gorgeous and the resort itself is stunning and in a perfect location. The quality of the food and drink was exactly what we hoped for and more and would definitely return.

We had issues with our AC and 2 technicians would not admit that there was a problem. We were given a different room for our second night and the difference in temperature of the room was huge. We then slept well for the rest of our stay. The shower heads were dirty and blocked. I have photos and a video if you need, but the hand held one was mostly black and the ceiling one had 1/4 of the holes blocked with some black stuff. The only channel in English was Cartoon Network, which meant nothing to watch for those that do not understand Turkish. The evening entertainment was short, and wasn't very good or entertaining. We would.have enjoyed more prawns and mussels etc as seafood. One night there was a dish that had fish up top and prawns at the bottom. All guests took all the prawns from the bottom and left the fish, showing that guests were looking for prawn and shellfish options. Dinner needs to remain open for another 30 minutes at least. We would see people come for the dinner, only to find il closed, and having to leave with nothing. This happened to multiple people, every night. Also, the fact that some food stations would start closing 5 minutes earlier did not help either.

Positives: Lovely part of the Turkish Coastline. Hotel setting is beautiful. Room was faultless, great sea view. Beach and sea lovely. Beach assistants to help find unused beds so never really had any issues with that. The Peoples restaurant for lunch was the best food and the best view! (this restaurant closed in the evening which is a shame, could do more with it). Negative: Maybe not for people with reduced mobility as situated on a hillside although buggies are provided, not always convenient. Biggest negatives for us in general was food choices, not a great choice of a la carte restaurants and 30-40 euros none included in the all inclusive (the Asian was closed so only two - we didn't bother) The buffet restaurant did not have an 'adults only' section (as with other Rixos hotels, Belek for example that we have visited 4 times). We found ourselves sitting with children (who are not always best behaved and leave tables in a complete mess - along with the adults!) most of the time. It was noisy and did not make for a pleasant eating experience. Service was mainly good although the staff seemed stretched at times. Food choice was OK but have had better. Evening: singers/music most evenings on the lobby terrace. Not very big. Found the evenings very boring, same thing every night. Perhaps they could do theme nights, utilise the Peoples restaurant, utilise the lovely grassed area for a theme night.. We went into Bodrum for a couple of evenings to break the monotony. For the eating and evenings we would not visit this hotel again although we would if this changed. We would recommend to people as it is fundamentally a beautiful place but with those provisos.

First of all, before staying here, my family and I had visited several hotels of a similar standard and reputation. However, this was by far the most expensive one, based on its current rates. In every previous hotel, there was always something unique that stood out. Since my expectations were highest for this hotel, I was disappointed that I couldn't find any area, product, or service that truly distinguished it. I don't think it delivered the "Premium" experience promised by its name. One major positive was that our room was upgraded upon arrival, and the room itself was excellent. Because of that, I'm writing this review directly for you rather than posting it on ETS. The shuttle (ring) staff were always friendly, professional, and did their jobs well. Room cleanliness and housekeeping were also very good. However, the hotel had an overall off-season atmosphere. There seemed to be too few employees, a lack of management presence, and noticeable coordination issues among the staff. We almost felt guilty asking for a cup of tea during meals—whether at breakfast or dinner—because the staff looked completely overwhelmed. The chaos during dinner on the one rainy evening can't really be described; it had to be seen to be believed. The beach service was excellent on our first day. However, on the last day, when it became only slightly busier, it was frustrating to see people reserving the front-row sunbeds by simply leaving a book or other belongings on them. The staff did remove these items when we asked for help. Also, because there were too few employees, food and drink orders started taking so long that by the time they arrived, we had almost forgotten what we had ordered. The children's pool was quite inadequate, and its operating hours were not respected. I never saw it open before 11:00 a.m. I assume it wasn't considered a priority because there were relatively few children staying at the hotel. To sum up, I stayed between June 17 and June 20 and certainly did not pay a low price. Unfortunately, the level of service did not match the premium price. I cannot say that I received an experience that justified what I paid.

We stayed at your hotel with our family until yesterday. Due to an overbooking situation, we were relocated together to Villa 4 (Panorama Villa). After checking out yesterday, we remained on the resort premises for the rest of the day, as our flight was scheduled to depart late in the evening. When our privately arranged taxis arrived to pick us up, they were stopped at the resort exit and sent back without any explanation being given to us. We were then brought back to the hotel, where we were informed of the reason for this action: we were allegedly accused of stealing items from the villa. We were shocked and deeply offended by this accusation. Not only were we prevented from leaving as planned, but we were also treated as if we had committed a crime, without any prior discussion, evidence, or opportunity to clarify the situation. This experience was extremely distressing for us and our family and has left a very negative impression of what had otherwise been our holiday. We request a full explanation of the events that occurred, including the basis for these accusations and the reasons why our departure was obstructed in such a manner. As a result of this incident and the way it was handled, our overall impression of your hotel has been seriously affected. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend your hotel to others, nor would we consider staying at your property again in the future.
