The heating & aircondition system at the entire hotel is out of order.

It was fine for one night stay. The room was actually really fine altough we had some problems with key cards. The interior of the hotel is long overdue for renovation.

After check in I have to change 3 times the room. Rooms are cold, heating didn't work. Found insects (dead and alive) in my room. Speaks not for a prof. housekeeping. The hotel in general is old and needs urgently modification.

My struggles started already during booking of the hotel. I was going to attend a seminar in this hotel and thus had a special rate for the stay. Although I sent two emails inquiring about accommodation, I received no answer at all. I then had to book directly via the website, hoping my "seminar code" will be applied. I appreciated the ladies at the reception desk, though when checking in I was asked for a higher price than what I booked. Luckily this was sorted quickly upon showing my booking details. What was rather unpleasant was that the central heating in my room was not working at all, which - as it was end of November - led to a pretty cold room (and I heard from colleagues that they had the same issue). The additional heater present in the room was not working either. As a vegan, I was also a bit disappointed with the food options offered for dinner, breakfast, and lunch. The best meal I got was during lunch when a plate was made ad hoc within 5 minutes. As nearly everyone can eat vegan food (and especially vegetarians), I would encourage the hotel to have good, nutritiously balanced vegan meal(s) as a standard, with the possibility to add meat or anything else for those who wish to do so. One thing I really liked was the various offer of plant-based milks in the small fridge!
