I have gone through lots of beautiful emotions and taking so many photos inside this hotel, the way they decorate furniture and stuffs looks like in Europe countries, this place is very close to Mount Fanxipan 3143m, easy to travel around the city center and discover the whole historic and ancient ethnic minority people in here such as HMong - Red Dzao - Tay ethnic, would love to see the heavy rain when we have a cup of tea inside this hotel, they have the best welcome drink ever in Sapa, so let's say that if I come back, this hotel will be picked as the 1st preference by me

A fairytale hotel in the clouds

This hotel has an interior design like no other. The famous hotel designer Bill Bensley took inspiration from the French Colonial period, leaning heavily on the theme of textiles and tailoring and created a hotel where every detail tells a story. It is filled with artefacts, making it a living museum. The restaurants and bars are perched on the top floor with Chic Restaurant on one side and the bar on the other. The quality of food and beverage is superb. We ordered from the room service menu on the first day and tried the Sturgeon which was excellent. The very talented German Executive Chef Oliver explained to us later that the Sturgeon is obtained from local farmers and delivered and prepared freshly every day. We had a corner suite on the 8th floor overlooking the valley with a large terrace. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the cool mountain air was a welcome respite from hot and steamy Hanoi. However, at times it became too noisy to sit on our terrace as the sound from the karaoke bars in the vicinity and the diesel fumes and noise from the tour busses below spoiled the atmosphere. Many of the staff come from the different hill tribes in this area. What they might miss in details of execution, they make up in friendliness and style. Ms Loan greeted us with a big smile every morning for breakfast and Mr. Kien and Mr. Denh looked after us in room service and for lunch. The breakfast buffet is superb and it is a mark of a very good hotel operation to see the Executive Chef and General Manager, Peter Neto, to personally check on the well being of their guests and during the busy breakfast period. Unfortunately, the 2nd day of our stay was totally rained out but the pool, or as they call it "le grand bassin" is indeed a grand affair with two big chandeliers hanging over the water. This, together with a visit to the spa and and excellent massage by Mr. Thann, saved the day. We booked our tickets for the Fansipan funicular and cable car through the hotel and I can only recommend to do so. When booking through the hotel, one gets a WOW pass which makes it much easier to navigate the way up to the mountain as there is staff to assist and fast track the transfers and cut out waiting time at the turn stills. Sapa town itself is a hill resort grappling with its own success as the infrastructure is not enough to cope with the influx of travellers, especially on weekends. We did a bit of walking, visited the local market and found a quaint Cafe overlooking the square where we had dinner. We had to abandon, however, plans to visit one of the villages further out as the road was totally jammed up with cars on a Friday afternoon. The best memories of Sapa are the wonderful food in the Hotel de la Coupole and the friendly faces of the staff. Unfortunately, the view from the top of Mount Fansipan was just not there as the entire mountain was shrouded in clouds during our visit.

Very good

A familiar spot in recent years whenever I visit Sapa. I love the ambiance, the warm hospitality, and importantly, the food is quite delicious—just to my taste. The hotel is an excellent choice for those who enjoy walking and being close to everything since it's right in the heart of Sapa. The rooms are generally sufficient, not too spacious given the central location. I stayed on the 8th floor, which had a very open view. The staff here are incredibly lovely, especially Chien and Hien at the front desk. Overall, I'm very pleased with MGallery's offerings! Definitely 5 stars!!

Introduced by a friend during my retreat in Sapa, this place is mysterious and artistically rich, which is a common trait of the MGallery collection. From the room decor to the stylish afternoon tea set, everything was done with great flair. My favorite part of the hotel is probably the bar on the 10th floor, which is very artistic! Additionally, the service is also worth mentioning; thank you to Kha, Chien, and Hien for their enthusiastic assistance throughout my stay in Sapa.
