By far, the best hotel in Korea is Novotel Dongdaemun!

This is my second time staying at Novotel Dongdaemun in Korea, and I must say that it is the best choice. I’m from Chicago, every time I visit Korea, without a doubt, I choose to stay at Novotel because of the exceptional experience I had the last time I stayed. If you're looking for high-end service and quality accommodations, don't think twice and stay at Novotel. All the staff members are very friendly, and they communicate fluently in English. I had no issues communicating with them. They are very professional and quick to respond to every request. We stayed on the 11th floor and rented two connected rooms for eight members of our family. The two connected rooms were spacious enough with an extra bed to accommodate all our family members. I had to hold a meeting and dinner, and the bar on the 20th floor was a perfect location. They had an extensive selection of wine, and the bartender was very friendly and attentive(especially Jake Ahn, Na and Woongbin). The food we had for dinner was mind-blowing, and the beautiful night city view from the 20th floor added to the experience. Breakfast was phenomenal, with all kinds of food, including American, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. The quality was great, and even the hangover food was impressive. When I first visited Novotel in 2019, and now I visited again, I felt that the hotel had improved in every aspect of service. Without a doubt, I will visit Novotel again the next time I visit Korea. Additionally, there are many shopping places nearby (within a mile radius), and GwangJang SiJang, where you can find authentic/trendy Korean foods at unbeatable prices. I will definitely stay at Novotel Dongdaemun again. Oh, one last thing, it was raining on the day we wanted to go out for shopping, and they provided us with an umbrella for free at the reception desk on the first floor.

Well located, speaks English, pleasent stay

I have a pleasent experience staying here. Received a room upgrade due to my Accor Gold membership. Room is clean and spacious. Heating & cooling system is working well. Breakfast is good with variety of Korean and Western dishes. However, as an Accor Plus members, i was only given 15% discount for breakfast for 2 people instead of the usual 50%. I didnt argue much but will certainly bring this up when renewing my membership this year
