I stayed for 1 night in Dec 2024. Stayed in the room type one above the base level. Pros: -Big room -comfortable bed and one of the pillows was soft enough to be comfortable. -The view from the room. We had room 1736 and that had an amazing perfect view of marina bay/boat quay/raffles place/city hall. if you can get an even higher floor like 2136 or 2336 that would be even better. But our room was amazing in terms of view. -wooden floor boards, no carpeted floors. -couch in the room -the pillows on the couch were so cool. It was leather-like or fake leather on one side and a fabric on the other side. -there was a mini fridge however you could only put things on the bottom. It is electronically sensitive, so if you take something out it auto-bills your room. -bathroom is nice, nice bathtub and rainhead shower within the same vicinity. -bathroom sink bench space is large enough to put everything out. -was given complimentary access to the hospitality lounge when i had a late night flight. it was like two rooms that have been converted to a lounge with sofas and tables with free tea and coffee and showers. very nice to offer that. -very nice and friendly front desk staff. also provided late checkout which was nice. -two round swimming pools, one for the kids and one for the adults. shared with another hotel but still was okay. -great location in the middle of the city, all within walking distance. Cons: -the switches and buttons for the lights and aircon etc are so slow to respond. You press the button and then 5 seconds later the action happens, a bit annoying but i guess it's some kind of environmental thing? energy saving switches? -breakfast selection is a little lacking in variety. They also separated the breakfast into two restaurants, one asian one and one more western one. But you can only pick one although they did have some asian foods in the western restaurant. Would be nice if they provided some plant based milk for example almond milk and more soy free options in the western restaurant. although i loved how the little cards had the allergies displayed on it, so it makes it easy to see what has dairy, soy, gluten etc. not many hotels have this, this should be standard. Overall rating: 9.5/10 Honestly loved the hotel stay, would highly recommend.

Large, shorter average length of stay properties are not our favorites. But the Fairmont Singapore far exceeded any expectations. The regular rooms are larger than average, well equipped with most any amenity, and well designed with a unique control panel for lighting, drapes, etc. Staff are service oriented and attentive, but little personality because of the size of the hotel. The beds are exceptionally sleepable and the shower is a spacious experience. Group check in was smoothly organized and baggage was promptly delivered. The only negative were the long lines for breakfast. The restaurants seemed incapable of handling the guest volume, though the buffet selection was extensive. One issue was the shortage of host assistants to conduct guests from checking to a table as, on many occasions, there were clean unoccupied tables awaiting guests then in line.

Everything about our stay was great. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We had access to the Gold lounge which was excellent. The food and drinks were wonderful. In fact, the happy hour food was so good and plentiful, we didn’t go out for dinner several nights. The staff at the lounge was outstanding. One person in particular, Ham, was unbelievably attentive. In addition to serving us, he took care of a billing issue and even found a nearby store where I could replace my electric razor. We will absolutely stay at the Fairmont for our next visit to Singapore.

Chinese new year celebration for me and my wife, I was pleasantly surprised by the immaculate service by James at the lobby, he was very personable and friendly, not only did he share his knowledge about Chinese new year but he told us the festivities about Chinese new year, sharing tips about Singapore and where to do go, he even taught us same Chinese new year greetings and took pictures for us in front of Chinese new year decorations, he even gave my son a box of chocolates for signing up for the free membership!
