Everything was as expected - wonderful. The facilities, rooms, comfortable beds, and extra touches. Breakfast was great, and everyone one was attentive, Of course - the building and gardens are beautiful. Close to many attractions and transport in Singapore.

My partner and I booked a weekend stay as a birthday treat for me. We've been fortunate to have stayed a few times before and staying at the Grand Dame of Singapore is always a pleasure. We checked in early and checked out late the next day -- a nice touch by the reservations team. Thanks to Elina. And also to our butler Ancy -- the chocolate expert! We stayed in a studio suite in the main building, which has its own verandah overlooking the fountain courtyard. The suite, though small, is so quiet and relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a hectic week and to recharge for the next. Things we really enjoyed: -- Lunch at the pool bar, which is only open to in-house guests. Impeccable service by Arief and Hafiz at the pool bar, who looked after us on the two days we stayed. -- The Writers Bar -- an old favourite. Again excellent service -- attentive, friendly but not overwhelming. Apart from the polished performance of the staff, we just really like the cozy decor. It is a small bar but it's so comfortable and inviting. It's nice to just linger there and chat. -- Breakfast in the fountain courtyard. A nice way to start the day and the food selection (buffet or a la carte) is excellent. Service can be a bit slow at times -- not enough staff I suspect. It's also just nice to wander around the hotel, take in the history, look the famous people who've stayed over the years and to see how the hotel has changed with the times. Yes, Raffles can feel a bit commercial and capitalises heavily on its past. But service remains excellent and the hotel still retains an old-world charm, yet is up-to-date. And yes, it's pricey. But it's still a fab place to visit.

It may sound corny but a stay at Raffles is more than that, it's a life experience everyone should have at least once. Sadly, the only disappointment we experienced was having to leave! Our brief but wonderful stay was the result of lovely, attentive staff providing perfect service whenever needed in surroundings that are the perfect mix of understated elegance and modern efficiency.

Exceptional place to stay, amazing service, unique history! Would recommend to all my freind to experience the Raffels. The food is the best experience I ever had in the hotels. Everything was cooked as per my request, fresh juices, I dial stale, white omelette, steamed vegetables! The room service was perfect, very clean and spacious room, pillows and mattress are perfect. Butlers were very helpful and friendly. Gym clean and useful. Pool clean and comfortable. WiFi easy to connect. Check in/out very easy. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional.

Is such an iconic place, it is hard not to love. This is my 2nd time staying here and I just adored both times. The rooms are simply beautiful and you are in the heart of the city. Great for celebrating special occasions with the discreet luxury and attentiveness of the fabulous staff. Really surprised by the tranquility of the rooftop swimming pool and highly recommend afternoon tea.
