Our stay at Fairmont Mount Kenya was exceptional. The service was amazing. Staff were well trained, extremely friendly and helpful at all times. The property was lush, green and extremely scenic. So many activities to do that 3 nights was barely enough. Rooms were clean and food was very good. One of the best properties in Kenya in terms of hospitality & accommodation. Definitely coming back.

I would have appreciated to be informed that the day after our stay the hotel would be completely booked for a wedding. The wedding meant that we had to assist to the construction of several tents during our stay, that partially took away the beauty of the place. Besides having to stay during the constructions ongoing, we were informed in the morning that we had to leave the room at 10 because of the wedding and that no late check in would be allowed. This notwithstanding I had requested even before my arrival whether a late check in was possible. The hotel knew in advance that this was not possible but refused to inform me until the morning of my departure

The on-site animal orphanage and stunning golf course are fantastic bonuses, perfect for both families and couples. The food is incredible, with every meal a culinary delight.
