Just recently spent one week at the Fairmont Masai Mara and it was the trip of a life time! The tents were luxurious, the food sensational and the two guided safaris a day were memories made for a life time! Every single staff member was welcoming, warm and so friendly. Special shout out to Mike our incredible guide, David at the bar for always remembering to have a nice cold Tusker post safari, Moses are very attentive server for all meals, Ntayai our housekeeper and of course Dennis, Nancy and Steve! Your staff made us feel like your family. This was definitely a trip of a life time! Highly highly recommend the Fairmont while at the Masai Mara! Thank you! Joanne and John

Where do I Even start....we had a huge 25 person group decend upon the Fairmont Mara Safari Club in October this year. Our friends had gotten married and wanted us to be part of their "Friends-Moon". Our friend Justin told us this is his favorite place in the entire world, and boy was he right. I am absolutely humbled by my experience at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club. First off, the Staff were brilliant, kind, attentive, and had a smile on their face 24/7. Everybody took care of us as family and made sure we didn't miss a beat as our schedule was quite set. My tent was wonderful, and my attendant took care of it pristinely every night to make sure I was comfortable(After my first night i ,requested an extra water bottle in my bed because it got quite cold, and every night after that, he made sure I had an extra water bottle without me asking). The Food was amazing, let me tell you, you will NOT go hungry, I don't even think I eat this much at home, and I found myself having to skip meals because i just couldn't eat anymore! Between the good at the resort, to the Bush Breakfast, the Bush Dinners, the Sundowners, the pool deck dinner, every experience was different. The staff will go above and beyond and will help accomadate any dietary restrictions as well. Wifi/Service is best in the main lobby area, but I stayed in tent 25 where there was service some nights, but really, you should be just relaxing in your tent disconnecting and listening to the animal soundtrack on the resort! Between the Hippos, the Tree Hyraxx, the wild dogs, it truly is an experience! You may even find some Monkey friends and Mongoose trying to pay you a visit! Now the Game Drives.....Wow. Seriously, don't miss out on a single Drive. Two a day is not enough, and I wish I had gone on Night game drives as well. Honestly, all the drivers were great, but our group spent most of our time with Alfred The Great. Alfred was absolutely a pleasure to be with everyday! By the end of the trip, practically the whole group wanted to be in his car because we spent some incredible moments and made unforgettable memories with him. Between seeing three large male Lions protecting baby cubs, to seeing a lioness stalk and hunt a warthog from beginning to finish(RIP Pumbaa :( ) I will never forget this! I don't think Alfred will forget us either, and I'm surprised he wasn't tired of us by the end of the trip! LOL They offer numerous added activities to your stay and i honestly suggest you do as many of those as you can! So save up a big and splurge! The Hot Air Balloon game drive was absolutely unique and ended with a champagne breakfast in the bush! When you need some relaxation, Get a two hour massage from Patience, the strongest woman in the Masai Mara! She was magic and really got all the knots out of my neck and back! And do the Walking Tour through the Bush! Unbelievable!!!! I could Continue on and on, but all I can say is, Just don't think about it, just book it and prepare to have one of the most life changing experiences of your life!

What an incredible and magical place. We are still without words to describe our experience. It was moving and inspiring. The Fairmont staff really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and special. I highly recommend a massage by Patience while overlooking the hippos. The real highlight of the trip was the serene drives spent in the Mara with our guide, Mike. He is a remarkable source of experience and knowledge and he went above and beyond to ensure each game drive was special. He has a unique talent of predicting what the animals might do next, which gave us truly unique experiences like seeing the elusive leopard descend from a tree and prowl across the fields looking for a new place to rest. He also brought a great personality and sense of humor to our hours of jeep drives. We know we have to return again someday.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay

This is one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had. I’ve traveled around the world, and wow, this place is something so magical. The people are incredibly kind, considerate, and pay attention to every detail. Each tent has a dedicated caretaker, mine was Jackson. He seamlessly refreshed the tent while I was at Safari drives, making it a true 5-star stay! Thank you Jackson. Our Safari guide was Alfred. Who was just incredible! He knew all the animals, the history of different lion prides and every day he surprised us with a new and exciting sighting. When I thought it couldn’t get any better, Alfred always outdid the previous game drive. I will be returning for years to come. This is a MUST trip in your lifetime!
