Wonderful wonderful stay… we checked in on 23rd June and checked out on 26th. Honestly, was a little concerned about how my 5 year old will fare - but the way she was taken care of at the property was simply out of the world. Hot food at her request was highlight of the stay. And having an Indian chef incharge does help. Dominic - Our game drive guide was simply outstanding. He knows how to find cats and being a local Masai definitely helps. Peter took very good care of us, particular 5 year old daughter. Having a veg dish of choice for every meal made the stay worth it!! Hippo corner - you rock… Finally the late checkout request we had placed was taken care of. So thankyou so much for that.

We stayed just one night. Oh, how I wish that we could have stayed longer. It was wonderful. The baby hippo trotting up and down on the riverbank was a special treat! I happened to mention to Chef Kapil and Dennis that this trip was a graduation gift for our daughter. At dinner we were surprised by a cake with a sparkler candle and around 10 staff members singing Kahuna Matata to my daughter! We loved it! All the staff members were so wonderful. While the tent interior was lovely, it was a little old and ragged on the outside. We could not zip it down completely and attach it to the Velcro. As a result, a little monkey crept into our tent. Oh well, that was part of the excitement of camping, and we did not really mind! She scampered out when I screamed! We saw so many animals on the game drive. Really close up! It was magical. Even on the drive over from our earlier lodge, we saw animals. It was surreal watching giraffe, zebra and baboons crossing the road!

Fairmont was a sensational from start to finish. The overall communication was unbelievable and clear! Moses and Jared were our driver and spotter/intern for the game drives and both of them were extremely happy, knowledgeable, and professional at the same time. We recommend either of them to any future guests. Rose was our waitress and she was amazing! She was always ready for you and spotted us coming from food right away. Lastly, Caleb was our room attendant and he went above and beyond everyday. He left us notes and messages and when left us a flower and leaf message on our last day. The whole staff knowing our names from the start is something I have never seen before and it really blew us away. We look forward to coming back someday!
