This is a great location with clean and specious rooms. Stars were friendly and helpful. Sajjad and Shahadat went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable . My room was 1415 with an amazing view. Highly recommended!

During my stay at the Fairmont Hotel, I had an excellent experience in Room 2025. The housekeeping service was outstanding—the room smelled very fresh, and the bathroom was cleaned to a very high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Supervisor Nejam Uddin and his team, Muazz and Kobir, for their exceptional service. In shaa Allah, I will definitely come back to the Fairmont Hotel again.

Poor Service Experience

⭐ 1/5 – Very disappointing hygiene, service, and guest care We stayed 5 nights and were extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The room was dusty and never vacuumed during our entire stay. Bed sheets were torn during the stay, which raised serious hygiene concerns. The shower drain was clogged, resulting in standing dirty water while bathing, making it impossible to feel clean. This is unacceptable at any standard. Breakfast service was also poor. Staff began cleaning and clearing tables while guests were still eating, repeatedly rushing us instead of allowing a calm and respectful dining experience. Despite being Accor Gold members, no late checkout was offered or even discussed. In addition, a pair of grey Crocs (men’s size 7) was stolen from the S2 prayer area. The incident was reported to hotel staff and security, but no follow-up or resolution was provided. To add to the inconvenience, the S2 prayer area was closed after Asr, causing unnecessary disruption for guests. Overall, cleanliness, security, and basic guest care were consistently lacking. This stay did not reflect the standards expected of a Fairmont or Accor-affiliated hotel, especially in Makkah where hygiene, safety, and guest dignity should be a priority.
