Great service. The food was very good especially the breakfast buffet. Again, the room was outdated and lighting was very difficult to figure out.

We booked an executive level room to take advantage of the lounge facilities. We arrived an hour early for check in and were taken up to the lounge to relax, being told that the room would be available very soon and we would be notified in the lounge and given our room key. At 3:15 (15 mins after actual check in) still no one had come to us so we had to actively find someone to find out the status of our room so as we could receive the key. When we arrived in the room, the bathroom was so small that it could not fit 2 people in. There was no space between the bath, toilet and sink, and the bath was so high that they had made available a builders ‘hopper step’ to help you get into the bath. In the room, the drawers in the wardrobe were missing the spindle at the back which stops the drawer from completely falling out, so every time we opened the drawers we have to be careful not to open them fully so as the drawers didn’t fall on to the floor. The Swissotel Osaka is advertised as a 5 star hotel, but is far from this in reality. The room we were in was dated and badly maintained, the service was not up to 5 star standards and I would not recommend staying there again. We got significantly better value from lesser starred hotels that cost less too. The only up-side to this hotel is its location.

Enjoyed our 2-night stay here with nice and comfortable room. Executive Lounge was great (all staff were friendly and attentive to guests needs). Location was perfect, nearby shopping areas and metro/train lines are connected to the hotel.
