Previously I have stayed in Swissotel Bosphorus (Istanbul) and it was main trigger in selecting Swissotel Krasny Holmy in Moscow amongst other Hotels (such as Four seasons Kremlin or Ritz Charlton). But after 5 day stays, i am disappointed Expectations was far below at Swissotel KRasny Holmy. Despite its good 5 star hotel number of deficiencies needs to be improved

- The location is - given our offices - really good and it's one of the better hotels in the area. The staff was friendly and was really helpful when I was struggling to get a taxi back to the airport, or, they were trying to accommodate us at the lobby during the fire alarm. - My suggestion though (and maybe this is a cultural difference), it would have been OK for the hotel manager to raise his voice and address the guests in the lobby all at once. At a time of crisis, people appreciate some direction / information and I felt that downplaying it and having staff approach guests separately wasn't as impactful as it could have been. - Another suggestion is the restaurant at the top & billing. Because I indicated that I likely wasn't going to use the minibar and that I didn't see the point in the extra charge at registration for minibar, it apparently also resulted in me not being able to put dinner(s) at the restaurant on the 34th floor on my account. Process-wise this doesn't make sense and you really can't force people to get a charge upfront for services that may or may not come. - Finally, to be able to go to the bar at the ground floor at the time for registration or exit would be appreciated. Even for a coffee or glass of water ... it shouldn't be much or high in value, but, the gesture would be appreciated.

I like the level of service in terms of room cleaning, breakfast, reception. I only disliked the dismissive attitude of the guards (an elderly guard) at the entrance to me and my colleague, that is, representatives of Asian appearance. He asked unnecessary questions that do not correspond to the level of such a hotel and which are not part of his duties. After all, the security is the first person you see in the hotel.

This was my wife's and my first time in Moscow and despite the public holiday announced for the same week, we absolutely enjoyed our stay, thanks in large part to the hotel staff's help, friendliness and cordiality. The executive suite was very nice. The plans for the upcoming renovations are being made at the right time as the room furniture is now a little outdated. Food quality was very good even though the choices were limited. Nonetheless, when we asked for something not on the menu, it was made for us without any hesitation. We would like to return to Moscow soon, and experience the full extent of what the city has to offer. We will not think twice about staying at the hotel again. While all the staff were very friendly and eager to assist, we must mention a few that went beyond our expectations: Daniil (concierge) was superbly helpful and informative from the moment we arrived up to the very last day, assisting us with PCR testing, obtaining QR codes, checking access with museums, answering questions about, and recommending, shops, sites, etc. Our stay would not have been so nice without him. Egor in the breakfast lounge is very friendly, has great sense of humor, and quick to offer great suggestions for site-seeing and food in the city. He knew our breakfast preferences from the second day and was keen to offer local specialties for us to try. Other staff members needing a mention here are Anna in the executive lounge, Andrei helping us with room service when we needed items not on the menu, Eldar, Fedor, Carina and Angelina at City Space. Over all a wonderful experience and looking forward to returning to the hotel.

Perfect overnight with a fantastic view, 23rd floor gives an imaging pic of Moscow. The breakfast was various with hot dishes prepared à la minute for your request. Bed sheets, pillows are fantastic- slept like a baby. Quickly checked the spa area was ok, nothing extraordinary but it delivers what it should. Two points to be mentioned: had to remind about welcome drink voucher wasn’t delivered at check in, but got it after reminder. Room was good size wise and clean, but actually was unclear did I get upgrade or not as it was not specified during check in. Overall stay was very pleasant

The experience is very good, I am totally satisfied with our stay at Swiss Hotel Moscow. Location and service is very good. Sunset in City space bar is unforgettable. I am really impressed by job done by Housekeeping. Everything in room was cleaned very good and in general room and public zones look like new one because of high level of cleaning. I felt myself very safe and comfortable all the time.
