Things I did not like. 1. Bed. Too small for a four-star hotel. Pillows are too soft and the mattress is not too comfy. 2. Hot water. There was none. It was lukewarm. All the time. Any time of day. Called the plumber to fix it but it was gonna take too long. So the fix was uneventful. 3. The room is small. Just small. Will not stay again.

I work in Siberia, and before flying to work, and sometimes also after work, I stay for 1 night in Moscow before flying out. I have made the Mercure Moscow Paveletskaya my first choice, and have now stayed there already many times. My stays in the hotel have every time been very pleasant. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The food and the draft beer are very nice (try the steak with Stroganoff sauce!). The staff are very attentive and helpful. About a week before arriving for my most recent stay, I received a questionnaire from the hotel, asking information about my favorite food, hobbies, music, etc. I answered the questionnaire, and was very surprised to find a delicious and large (sort of almond) cookie with the album art of one of my favorite music bands printed on the cookie in colorful marzipan (I think). Next time I need to stay in Moscow again, it will for sure be in Mercure Moscow Paveletskaya!

I was insulted when i first ordered food, i was refused service. The wait staff and cleaning staff are very helpful. I paid 10 days in advance and i am a plantinum member, it was not explained to is at check in that we needed to leave a deposit as my cards do not work. My wife left a deposit the next day.

We are sorry you had such uncomfortable issues during your last visit but let me note that the problem associated with the impossibility of leaving a deposit and making other payments is connected only with political reasons and the sanctions disconnection of Russia from the SWIFT system, that does not allow payment in the territory of the Russian Federation with bank cards issued in the territories of foreign countries. In addition, kindly ask you to contact me at the email address h8… and share the details of providing bonuses for your loyalty program status, since during the investigation it was revealed that when the reception staff checked in, the room was upgraded and other preferences were issued.
