One of the most elegant and beautiful hotels in the absolute perfect location in Victoria. The gardens equal Butchart Gardens in beauty, the service is excellent and dining an experience. Close to everything, shopping, restaurants, activities and the walkway around the waterfront.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and well-appointed historical hotel. The grounds were immaculate and gorgeous. The decor was classic and timeless and the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. I believe and feel that the Fairmont Empress stands at the Pinnacle of luxurious stays anywhere in the world.

Fifty-two years ago, while serving in the US Navy in the Puget Sound area, my father and I stayed at the Empress for a brief R&R time. I have not been back since and wanted to share my revisit with my wife of 43 years. Our stay was wonderful in every way possible. The staff was excellent and helpful at every turn. Dining and room service was over the top. The room and grounds of the hotel were impeccable. Thank you for a great time!!

Booked two rooms for my Mom’s 80th birthday. We flew up from Seattle for the night. One room was fine, no view at all and expensive but basically fine. The other room was for handicapped and the shower drain was clogged. So, my elderly mother almost fell on the slick surface of the soaking wet bathroom before maintenance came and fixed it. We were given a $150 credit toward food which is a steal for you guys given the possible outcome of an elderly lady tripping on a bathroom floor because the 600/night room wasn’t properly maintained
