Overall okay, but I wasn’t impressed. The room had beautiful high ceilings but it was not whatsoever sound proof and there was a lot of hallway noise. The bathroom really needs a renovation. It is definitely worth it to upgrade to Fairmont gold because the regular rooms are dingy and not worth the price.

I was given a pet friendly room and told that there was a preference for that put on my profile. I have stayed at Fairmonts many times and never had that on my profile. I was put in a room with a big pet bed, dog bowls and it was not a pleasant smell. In addition, I had been traveling, it was late, I was exhausted and not happy to have such an unpleasant room. I had to change rooms and ultimately it took me almost an hour an a half to finally get settled. The room I was given was so far away, hallways smelled musty and old and there were dirty dishes that stayed for two days outside the room at the end of the hallway.

We spent one evening on the Gold Floor and were extremely pleased with the comfort and warmth provided by Miriam and her attentive team. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers and desserts provided in the evening and the breakfast the next morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our "in-town get-away" and would highly recommend to anyone.
