Had the best trip here. Property has been so nicely renovated since our last visit in 2018. Stunning. Food was 12/10 good. Strongly recommend Fuego (catch of the day was better than we have had in Michelin star restaurants) and Tauro (steakhouse - service, steak, and cocktails all incredible). People made the trip - Javier and Fernanda our butlers were the kindest and most attentive people. Irvin by the swim up bar makes the best cocktails in the game (and is such a wonderful human - just like Javier and Fernanda). We were even lucky to see Alejandro who is now a butler but introduced me to Mezcal 7 years ago by the pool - he’s one of the best people - and a good sign that this property invests in their people. We will be back and have decided this is simply our favourite beach property in Mexico. We even stayed at the Rosweood in Mayakoba - which was also great and had awesome service - but for the value the Fairmont is the best. Cannot wait to come back.

Thank you for the opportunity to share feedback regarding my recent stay. Overall, the property and grounds were beautiful, and my family and I truly enjoyed our time together. The babysitting service was also excellent and very much appreciated. However, I do want to call out a significant service concern. I booked a Signature Casita Room with Balam Butler service, which is priced above the Fairmont and Deluxe Casita categories specifically because of the added service level. Unfortunately, we never received butler service at any point during our stay. In contrast, my friend staying in a Deluxe Casita received butler support after raising the issue with staff. My family stayed in the room for two days and we never heard from anyone. I raised this concern with the reservations agent during checkout and was offered a $100 USD adjustment. While I accepted it, I still feel the situation was handled unprofessionally and fell below the level of service I expect—especially as someone who frequently stays at high-end hotel brands like the Ritz and St.Regis. I have been visiting Mayakoba for Thanksgiving week for four years (2021)and have previously stayed at the Andaz. This was my first time choosing the Fairmont, and unfortunately, the service experience was underwhelming, particularly since I recommended the property to 17 family members who joined me on this trip. I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience moving forward.
