We enjoyed the view of the toboggan slide and the dufferin terrace from our room ( very nice) We live only 50 km away at mt St Anne but this week of vacation at the chateau Frontenac with the escapade to the Hotel de Glace made us feel we were at the ice hotel in Sweden (great)

A most relaxing stay...and a time of refreshment as well. Attentive and personalized service. It felt special to be addressed by our names; and for our "caretakers" in Fairmont Gold even to remember how we take our tea or coffee. Amazing!

Amazing Sunday morning brunch. The gold level service & lounge was great. As we were celebrating our 41st anniversary, we really appreciated the complementary sparkling wine upon our arrival. As an opportunity for improvement, we found the room to be very dry. We should have called the front desk about it earlier, as we didn't raise the issue until the last day. The Maintenance staff brought a humidifier which was a positive response. However, they didn't set it up, which was not intuitive. We asked the room service staff who couldn't figure out how to put water into it either. After they got additional help, we got water into it, although I'm not sure if it accomplished much. So it could have been handled more effectively up front by the person who originally dropped it off in the room.

We were very impressed with the level of service throughout the hotel from check in to the restaurants and room service. The treasure hunt was a hit with the kids. I would recommend increasing the spring break activities for children - Chateau Laurier and Chateau Montebello both rent bouncy castles and games for the occasion, as does the Hilton.
