I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. From the moment I arrived, every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. The concierge team was especially outstanding — they played a key role in making my trip seamless by arranging transportation and helping book rides to the activities I was most excited about. Their local knowledge and attention to detail made exploring the area effortless and stress-free. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, beautiful historic charm, and impeccable service throughout. Everything felt thoughtfully managed, from check-in to departure. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Québec City. I would gladly return.

Overall the experience was great. The people were extremely friendly and helpful and the service / stay was exceptional. Two complaints that we had: 1.) the bathroom in our gold room was way too small, especially for larger people. 2.) Bistro Le Sam was very dissappointing. The food was overpriced and frankly just ok and the total expierence took way too long when we just wanted a meal at the hotel. We could have easily spent quite a bit more there had our servers come to the table more often. Will not be going there on future trips.

Although the hotel is well situated in the heart of Quebec City and has an interesting history, it is in need of a renovation. Technology in the rooms is outdated and not fully functioning. The lamps are very difficult to turn on and off. The water pressure in the showers is poor and the water itself shuts off intermittently.
