Frisco6 Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

The property is fabulous to look at but appearances deceive. The infrastructure needs work from the 'out-of-service' elevator to the SLOW operating elevators that motivated many of our group to discover unmarked stairway exits. The fixtures in the bathrooms are inoperable except for very strong and determined bathers. Staff seemingly uninterested in the hospitality profession.

The decor was really beautiful however the food menu included as the package deal was limited and there were extra charges for certain meals thereforevit is NOT an all inclusive Not even the soft drinks were included No one advised us that tips were already accounted for in the all imclusive package that we had chosen

Confusion and indifference.

Lucky525 Couples - TripAdvisor review

My wife and I booked, directly with the hotel, a package which included room, golf and breakfast. We also added the dine in option for dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The on-line booking form asked whether we had any special requests and we requested a dinner reservation for 6.30pm. When we arrived to check in, after waiting for 10 minutes to be called to the reception counter, our booking could not be found. rather than the staff attempting to find my booking in their system, I had to trawl through my emails to find the booking confirmation. Then we were told we did not have a booking at the restaurant despite the confirmation showing we had paid for the dinner. I advised that I had requested a reservation for 6.30pm, however this was met with disbelief and was told that the best they could do for us was a sitting at either 5.30pm or 8pm! I said that was not good enough and suggested that perhaps someone may have overlooked the special request, however that suggestion was scoffed at with the clear impression being that no such request was made. Eventually, upon our insistence it was agreed that we could eat at 6.30. Maybe, we shouldn't have bothered. It was a very, very ordinary meal, but that is another matter. The next morning we went to play golf at the hotel's golf course. Upon arrival at the pro shop we were told that we did not have a booking for golf either. This is despite the check out clerk at the hotel asking us to enjoy our round of golf. (At least someone knew what we had booked.) So, I had to go through the whole rigmarole again at the pro shop. Trawling through my emails on my phone to prove that we were staying at the hotel and golf had been booked. Very grudgingly, it was conceded we did have a booking and so off we went to play golf. The thing which irritated me most about both encounters was the utter and complete indifference of the staff and lack of any willingness to assist. The clear implication from all of them was that the confusion was entirely our fault. At least the check in staff made some pretense of being polite, in contrast with arrogance of the two in the golf shop who were not in the least interested in helping at all. And, they reckon that this is a 5 star hotel. Never again! Having said all that, the wait staff in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the golf course starter were genuinely polite. The hotel itself and our room was ok, but certainly nothing special for the price, and in no way 5 star.

A hostel had a better charcuterie board for half the price. Brunch quality was poor.

Very nice hotel. Rooms need a little bit of renovations.
