Wonderful people overall. In particular, the concierge (younger gentleman with a mustache), housekeeping, and the babysitter (also a hotel employee) were all fantastic and really made the experience. Overall, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were good but could use some improvement/upgrades. Bathroom was tight with little counter space, otherwise fine. The room overall was well sized. A larger fridge for families with small children would be appreciated as between milk and food it was a challenge. A microwave option for traveling families would also be appreciated for warming of milk and food for small children who do not eat in the restaurant. AC in the room as opposed to just a fan is also something we'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The final two nights of our stay were humid and you could feel it in our room - things felt damp. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, but we will likely not return annually due to the accommodations being below expectation in the ways mentioned above. Golf and kid activities were fantastic.

Beautiful spot, great view, nice outdoor pool and spacious room. However, service was not excellent. Our room was not ready when we got there (or by 4 pm) so we had to wait an hour with no offer to accommodate for that (eg, a free drink or offer of a later checkout would have been nice). Also very hard to get food at dinner time - restaurants not taking walk ins, no answer when calling for room service.

Your staff was lovely, rooms and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The only problem we had was getting food. It felt like your restaurants were understaffed for the amount of guests at the hotel for the week (we came for a dance competition). We often waited a long time for meals which was very difficult with children. The meals themselves were delicious and all of your staff was professional and friendly. Maybe more areas with quick serve options or simplifying a menu in one of the restaurants or bar areas for a quick turnaround during an event like this. I loved our stay and would definitely consider coming back for a vacation.
