I am very disappointed in my stay. When I arrived, there was garbage in my hotel room garbage can. The next morning I noticed the toilet was dirty. When I lifted the toilet seat, there was something crusty and redish (I have a photo) and only 3 kleenex in the kleenex box. I complained to the hotel and they offered to change my room but I didn't want the inconvenience of having to switch rooms. They said they would send someone to my room to fix the issues. Someone did come and supply a new kleenex box but the toilet was not cleaned and remained dirty the remainder of my stay.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay. What was most striking was the clear decline in service standards. After returning from a full day of skiing, we were looking forward to relaxing in a clean, made-up room, only to find that the room had not been serviced at all! To clarify, there was no privacy sign on the door, and no one knocked that morning. I called housekeeping, but by then the inconvenience had already disrupted our ability to relax. During that same call, I also requested fruit tea and toothpaste, as the staff member asked me which type of tea I would prefer. However, when we returned to the room, we found only two tea bags, one black and one green, and no toothpaste. In addition, the body lotion was still not replaced, even though the bottle had been almost empty since the day we arrived. I have stayed at this and other Fairmont hotels before and have always valued the high standard of care and service. For that reason, this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the level of hospitality I have come to expect from Fairmont.

We travel all over the world and stay at many Fairmont hotels. The Hotel was beautiful, room was comfortable but the service was quite poor. The front desk was never available. When we arrived back from an excursion one evening, my wife was told that the main restaurant St. Laurent was a Gastronomic restaurant and did not provide a children's menu. The St. Hubert also was not available across the street because of the casino so we had to resort to eating in our room. (In Room dining menu wasn't children friendly). I can tell you we did bring our family to the St. Laurent the following evening and they did provide options for the children, I spoke directly to the manager of the restaurant. We were very misinformed the evening before which had us waste 1 night out of the 3 spent at the hotel. I went to the front desk on day of check out to discuss my folio and waited 15min and no one was available. As a Gold member I expect a certain level of customer service but that should be a constant to any patron of the hotel. The whole Industry is based around it! It was definitely a low point of our overall Trip.
