Hotel Morris Sydney - Handwritten Collection 4 stars

We stayed one night at the Hotel Morris Sydney and we had an incredible stay. The hotel is so modern and great design. The staff is fantastic and the location is wonderful. Highly recommend and will return here again.

When the cab pulled over to drop me off, I was concerned as the surroundings didn’t look great. However, once I found the door to Hotel Morris and I entered into the property I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was I met with beautiful decor, I also received a very warm welcome from the staff. I immediately felt comfortable. That staff warmth, service and attention continued across the whole of my stay, across all the staff on the various shifts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this boutique heritage hotel, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped into the amazing entrance, I was captivated by the charm and warmth of the place. The cozy rooms added a perfect touch, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional staff. The people here are not just attentive; they are genuinely beautiful in their hospitality. Every detail, from beginning to finish, was carefully curated, making my stay truly memorable. I can confidently say that this hotel has mastered the art of creating an enchanting and delightful experience for its guests. Highly recommended!"

The rooms are updated, chic and cute. The location is great. 5-10 walk from Central Station (and other train stations), Chinatown, CBD, Sydney Tower, Queen Victoria mall, and more! Really great location. The only thing about the hotel room is that there was poor drainage from the shower so it flowed over onto the bathroom floor and almost onto the carpet in the room; the water running out of the shower is, unfortunately, a common issue at many hotels (American top brand hotels as well) due to the design of the shower. I wish they would change it.

A well appointed room with good amenities. A respectable breakfast offering with great service - truly a highlight. Was surprised to be stung for a ~$55 per night fee for a foldaway bed, not mentioned at check in, as was staying with teenage child. No teenager wants to share a bed with their parent, and was told that no room has two beds. So I paid for a room and then again, even though the room rate should suffice. It becomes a more expensive hotel as a result so if you have a family, stay elsewhere.
