My company made the booking and received a booking confirmation and number. This was not in the Novotel system on my arrival, luckily there were spare rooms so I was able to take a room. It took several days to sort out. The Novotel Manager was not very helpful - consistently passing blame onto my booking company - when clearly it was also an error with Novotel system (we had a booking reference and code - so my booking company took this with good faith). My colleagues booking went through okay. I think the Novotel Manager - Reservations could have been more helpful, accepted some culpability, more humble and offered me corporate rates immediately. What a mess and took 2 days or more to sort out.

I was charged for early check in despite of my loyalty program status

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback and, most importantly, for your loyalty as a Platinum member. We truly value your continued trust in us. We sincerely regret if the early check-in charge caused any disappointment. Please allow us to clarify with full transparency. Complimentary early check-in for loyalty members is always subject to room availability on the day of arrival. In your case, you arrived at 5:00 AM, which is considered a guaranteed arrival from the previous night, as the room must be reserved and kept vacant overnight to ensure immediate access. Normally, this requires booking and charging the room from the day before. However, recognizing your Platinum status, we made a special exception. Instead of charging the full additional night, we applied only the early check-in fee as a reduced alternative. This was done as a gesture of appreciation for your loyalty. That said, your comfort and satisfaction remain our priority. If this experience left you feeling undervalued in any way, we sincerely apologize — that is never our intention. Your loyalty means a great deal to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much smoother and more seamless experience during your next stay at Novotel Bishkek.
