We Came to Dubai for a business trip and decided to stay in Grand Mercure hotel but in the beginning we have faced a few minor hiccups with the hotel staff especially during the worst and slow check-in process. But however, the staff more than made up for that. Especially Puja and Mina from housekeeping provided us a great service throughout and made our stay really really comfortable. And last but not least please keep up your beautiful smile on always on your face Puja. Your smile is one's of the best smiles which I've ever seen till now. Once again Thank you to both puja and mina for making our stay wonderful and keep showing your professionalism at best in work. Thank you girls.

Very convenient hotel

Very pleasing environment. Well attentive staff overal. Food at the restaurant was always fresh and well prepared. Rooms carpets need to be vacuumed daily. Towels need to be checked for stubborn stains before placing them in the rooms. Our room didn’t have a hairdryer and iron and I needed to request it. However the location and amenities at the hotel make it very convenient for short day trips to local attractions as well as just enjoying a relaxing day at Grand Mercure Dubai City.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Special thanks to Alaa at the reception — she was incredibly kind and professional. The hotel itself is new, very clean, beautifully designed, and has a stylish, modern vibe. Everything was just perfect — from the cozy atmosphere to the delicious food. Truly an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Good accommodation conditions

Room was well cleaned and in good condition. For some reason could not switch off TV in the room using remote control. Was appreciated complementary water provided in the room however chlorine content was really high and probably above the limit. Same situation for drinking water was observed at the restaurant. The negative part was related to the payment of hotel through travel agency, it was paid fully before my travel and I had a voucher from agency however at the check-in I was informed that I need to pay, finally I had paid twice for the accommodation and have to wait for the refund.

1. Taking long to respond to calls from the rooms 2. Set up of the rooms not appealing and congested 3. Rooms missing basics eg. liner for hanging went pants 4. Television set up and remote not user friendly 5. One of the rooms had awful smell sewage like 6. MY NEW IPHONE CHARGER WAS STOLEN FROM OUR BEDSIDE DRAWER - ROOM NO.12 7. We reported about the charger, the matter was handled casually. POSITIVELY: Breakfast was good. Reception set up is excellent. Courtesy bus to airport is a good idea. Traveling desk was a good idea too.
