Staff were repeatedly on their phone or reading books at reception and food counters. They were not friendly or engaging and we seemed to be bothering them. In the middle of checking in they stopped to use their phone and read messages, on checking out called receipt ion repeatedly at 5am- ended up having to go down and the staff member had earphones in and was watching YouTube. Also hours of the amenities were terrible for tourist visiting Dubai. Spa and swimming pool should be open later to accommodate tourists coming home after visiting the tourist sights.
