Sports Bike parking experience and Moisture in room

I travelled all the way from hyderabad to Vijayawada on Sports bike for dussehra celebrations and stayed at Novotel vijayawada for almost 8-9 days. I had a very bad experience with motor bike parking. Everyday I had to park the bike in Level B1 and take 2 lifts to go to room. I requested the security HOD , Srinivas (if i recollect correctly) to let me park the sports bike in porch as I did in most of premium hotels in india. My motor bike was more expensive than any cars which were parked closeby to entrance. But he refused and was very adamant. He doesnt have minimum courtesy to followup the request from day 3. He couldnt accomodate the request and I feel if premium hotels like Novotel cannot accomodate customer request, no point paying for luxury. And coming to the room, rhe floor was moist most of time when i came back to room in the evening. Not sure why is that. Overall i would not recommend novotel for any of my friends ir family. Thank you

I asked the front office executive to provide me a room which is hill facing. I said even a suit or higher price is Okey for me but I just need a room in that kind. However the executive lied to me saying none of the room in this hotel in hill / mountain facing. As that was the night time and my first visit to Vijayawada, so I was not aware about the surrounding in night. After boarding in to the room and entering inside the hotel I discovered that executive gave me false statements. There were many room available with kind of I was looking for. Really disappointed with this behavior of front office stuff who alloted room to me.

The stay was awesome with comfort and pleasure. Infinity Pool was great. The room was excellent where one can relax with comfort. The staff was very cordial and humble. The delicacy was delicious with vide spread varieties which can satisfy every ones' taste buds. Over all experience was worth cherishing for long.

It was very overcrowded because of few VIP guests. Not able to meet the basic needs of the other customers in restaurant, house keeping and overall. The hotel carpets and other furnishings are very dusty which caused severe cough to all my family members. The restaurant staff make huge noise while searching for cutlery along with their foot steps. The staff who cleans the room does not even remove the used sugar covers. Overall it was a nightmare experience on our four day stay in Novotel Vijayawada.

When ever I visit vijayawada I stay in Novotel. Recently when I stayed there was a vip who has staying there coz of that room service was late, vallet parking took time,this time room service was very late.

This time hygiene part was completely missing...even toiletries were not placed. For every thing, you have to ask. Very bad experience this time for overall service including dinning. First day, dining area, same person cleaning tables, with same hands serving as well without cleaning.

Being a gold member, I am entitled to better service and experience. Despite multiple complaints to front desk, the AC in the room was not fixed. I was not given any welcome gift or priority experience. Overall, it sucks.

Guest service was pathetic. Whatever was asked for was not provided .. including drinking water. I think the hotel is not bothered about serving normal guests as bulk of the occupancy is anyways guaranteed as its the only premier hotel in Vijayawada.

Found inexperienced front desk staff and service staff. I came to know that only 1 house keeping assistant to clean entire rooms. I called 7-8 time to make my room. I'm very happy about Accor Manager Mr.Surya he helped me finding comfortable room with all emilites for my family.

Bad hospitality

One of the worst hotel stays in my life. Hospitality and human gestures were completely missing. 1. Waited for the valet to the take the car for some time 2. Even though the booking was for queen bed, reception tried to convince me to take a twin bed 3. No one has helped us with the luggage during check-in and check-out even after requesting the reception and guest services team 4. Requested for late check-out as I have checked in late in the night. Card was deactivated at 12pm even after the lobby manager was okay for 2pm checkout. We were locked out of the room 5. Breakfast setup was too crowded. Had to wait for 30 mins to get a table. Buffet was closed dot on time so people who have been waiting couldn't get enough food 6. Pool timings could have been extended till 11 am or 12pm. By the time we struggled to get breakfast, the pool was closed

I am having Accor plus membership with "PLATINUM" status since long time. I am a frequent traveler and so far completed 61 nights in this calendar year. I had stayed at many Accor group hotels across india and always feel proud of being part of ACCOR group. I think NOVOTEL Vijayawada VARUN is the only hotel which gave me worst stay. Unfortunately, this is not the first time, had faced such difficulty earlier also. My stay was for double occupancy, however they have provided me with a single key. It was difficult to manage with single key as key is mandatory for lift access and room power ON. Even after several physical and personnel requests also front office failed to provide an additional key. in this regard, I had to face a lot difficulty while staying. The most worst part is that, we family members of four have booked 02 double occupancy rooms. One room was provided at 5th floor and another at 6th floor. we couldn't meet each other due to excellency of front office staff. 5th floor people couldn't go 6th floor and vice versa due to lift access denial with keycard. As per hotel, breakfast start timing is 6.30AM. Even at 7AM, dosa, omlete poori was not available saying TAWA was not ready. In general as a token of loyalty, for a platinum memeber, fruit platter/basket or Cookies are being provided in room, however it seems NOVOTEL Varun Vijayawada doesn't want to follow basic loyalty programme of ACCOR. I strongly suggest all accor members unless otherwise if you don't find any good stay in vijayawada then only go for this.

We stayed 3 days in this property in a suite room . Rooms were great with good cleanliness, the food at the food exchange was ok but should be improved on quality, taste , variety. The dessert section was pathetic not even a single dessert was up to the mark. Chef Vinay and Sai Krishna tried a lot to fulfill our requirements , Thankful to them. The Major upset was a Holi bash where 300-400 people got together on top floor and were all using the same elevator of the inhouse guests , flaunting all the COVID Norms, which is absolutely not acceptable, we thought NOVOTEL would be safer but we experienced otherwise.
