I can say that the Mercure at Daventry has all the comforts of Home and more. The attention to details is very good. You are made to feel very welcome from the time you step inside to the time you depart. I can only recommend the location and its attentive staff which has to include, Tasmin, Dom. Kim P, Scarlett, Kim W, Sean and Kim B to name a few as all do a fantastic job.

Lovely clean venue, very well maintained. Lots of support from the front of house staff during our conference. Free parking right on site that is really convenient and easy accessible to the venue. On site food is of a really high quality and good value for money

Disappointed that my order for 5 glasses of port after dinner could not be supplied - the staff eventually established that port stocked by the hotel! That after a £60 dinner. Disappointed the 5 doubles of Brandy ordered as no port available after dinner were going to be delivered in tumblers - after a great deal of strong insistence 5 balloon glasses when eventually found. I was very very surprised the bar staff lacked training.

We borrowed an umbrella and returned it the next day. However we were charged the £3 hire fee plus £17 even though umbrella was returned. Yet to be resolved

I had a warm welcome, room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. I had a lovely meal and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable as I require gluten free food.
