2nd visit to Liverpool & 2nd to the Mercure. We like this hotel because of the location on the waterfront and also that it has parking facilities. The room we had was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child and even with the fold out bed didn't seem to small. Didn't use the restaurante facilities so cannot comment on that but was disappointed that the Vu Bar wasn't opened when we arived.

We stayed here for 1 night for my birthday. Lovely receptionist to greet us, we were way too early but they took our luggage in for us until it was ready so we went for a nice walk along the dock and town. We were on the ninth floor which we loved. Very clean room, nice crisp white sheets. Everything you need in the room including tea and coffee. The view from our room was stunning, the Albert docks and the very impressive Liver buildings to name a couple. The breakfast in the morning superb. Buffett so help yourselves. Nice and hot too. All in all a lovely stay and would book again
