A great stay in Liverpool

We have just had a superb four night stay. The room was lovely, the breakfasts were fabulous: fried eggs made to order and hot porridge available in the buffet each morning. Most of all, the staff were superb. Brie, who checked us in very professionally and cheerfully, was most helpful throughout our stay, and Zoe, at breakfast, was so courteous and pleasant. The lovely staff really made our stay a cut above the normal. A big Thank You to all of them.

Award to most unreceptive Receptionist goes to Mr. Tardy 🥱🥱🥱

Location is ideal in centre of Liverpool and booking is easy enough. We originally emailed to ask about parking nearby and they didn't reply!! Pulled up in car outside and went in to ask where we could park, tardy Reception guy told us to 'go up street and turn right'. We drove up and came to an NCP which was extremely expensive. If only tardy Reception guy could have spent 5 seconds more explaining that hotel car is actually about 20 yards past NCP, we could have saved some money. Upon checking in, same tardy Receptionist just handed our key with absolutely no pleasantness whatsoever. Behind us, we could hear reception lady going out of her way to explain to another couple about land marks and restaurants etc. She was obviously doing it right and just to think, Mr Tardy Receptionist was best at the interview 🤣 Hotel was nice but ill spend my money elsewhere next time thanks to this guy

Grubby, noisy and generally disappointing

Room was small. Looked to have been refurbished recently but paining over the damage and damp is not good. Room and shared areas were grubby/dirty. I found it noisy, Wall are thin with no sound proofing. I could hear my neighbours snoring and their tv was crystal clear in my room. My colleague was clearly next to the honey moon suite so didn’t get a great nights rest. Save the money and give the breakfast a miss as it was underwhelming too.

We were very surprised when Zoe came over to us with the gift because we were not expecting it.

We loved the room,it was a room that we requested. All members of staff were brilliant, one member of staff stood out from the rest Zoe was excellent. We mentioned to Zoe that we had our wedding reception at the Atlantic Tower Hotel in 2017 and it brought back memories being here. During breakfast Zoe turned up at our table with a tray full of rose petals and a lovely box of chocolates We thought how very thoughtful that Zoe was.
