Fantastic experience from check in to check out, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was lovely and warm and really comfy bed. I recommend breakfast it was delicious, great choice from cold buffet and hot breakfast is serve to your table, best scrambled eggs I ever tasted

The Caledonian Hotel is one of the great hotels of Aberdeen, built in granite and with a location second to none if you are visiting His Majesty or the Music Hall. Personally, we visited the Tivoli theatre to watch Beauty and the Beast which is just a few minutes walk away and then went to Cafe Andaluz for dinner. The Caley still has a great reputation as a place to stay even though it is a wee bit old fashioned (which is fine, you expect traditional style when you visit a classic granite building). The room was very warm, clean and comfortable. The bistro was relaxed and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Only downside was no porridge in an urn . Overall, very good stay and perhaps we shall stay there again next Hogmanay as several of the clients seemed to come from our neck of the woods north of Aberdeen. Happy new year all. And a special thanks to Egl at reception. A young lady who was interested in our stay.
