We had our work Christmas Dinner here, a very disappointing experience. The place was very crowded and noisy, incorporating other Companies, packed in tightly. Meal was okay, but very meagre portions. There was a disco after the meal, but this was ruined by grumpy looking security guards wandering around the whole evening. One of my work colleagues was accused of having a hip flask, she certainly didn't and doesn't even own one? This may have been a case of mistaken identity, as she was also refused drinks at the bar, for no apparent reason. People were drinking and trying to enjoy the party, but she had done nothing wrong, and certainly wasn't too drunk to serve. This resulted in many of us leaving early, I certainly would not recommend this Hotel, as staff are very unreasonable. An expensive meal ruined by them.

Warm welcome, but cold room and corridors. Would happy paid double not to have felt so cold. Everything else was perfect. Please spend a little on the heating of the rooms.

Went for a Christmas party. Was very excited about food, but when our Christmas dinner came out it was borderline inedible. Everything was massively undercooked, apart from the sprouts which were overboiled and somehow stringy and spongey at the same time. The roast potatoes looked like they had only been lightly boiled, the stuffing was white, with no crispiness whatsoever, the meat was pale, the pigs in blankets limp. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly.

Stayed Saturday 7th to Monday 9th. Small room for 2 people, stay spoiled by Xmas party guests in function rooms, some guy throwing up immediately outside the entrance steps, lots of noise from disco and loud drunken party guests doing and blinding all over the lobby/reception area. I think the need to have 4 bouncers in the area says a lot. Not a pleasant experience having to pass through that situation on way to your rooms. No-one at reception warned us of this when we checked in the afternoon
