On arrival to the room I immediately recognised how cold it was. The window was wide open, and couldn’t understand the reasoning behind a portable electric heater in the middle of the room. I attempted to turn on air conditioning fan to heat up the room. Unfortunately this was broken. I had messaged the Ibis via there WhatsApp to be told that the heat in this particular room had been broken !!! After being told there is no way to facilitate another room , I had requested the managers email to make a formal complaint as this was a disgrace. On looking on several booking websites for another more comfortable accommodation I had noticed that there was availability in the ibis hotel. This was highlighted to the staff, and of course a room became available. Anyone booking this week beware of room 126!!! It’s a disgrace paying for a cold room with a portable heater, defeats the purpose of going and staying in a hotel !

Loved the style of hotel, restaurant and bar. Nice touches for kids. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Room was small but stylish too and contained everything we needed. We weren’t offered a twin room on booking - it would have been useful but unsure if they were sold out.

Nice location but thats about it. Food was very overpriced, beer was 2x elswhere and had a service charge applied without even being asked! Room was OK but the bed was not very comfortable and the aircon blows straight at you, 26' blowing at you one minute and 18 the next so again sleep disturbed.

Great experience, friendly and welcoming team. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly station, local shops, bars and restaurants. I would recommend staying if visiting Manchester.

The check in was bad. The reception was not aware that my child would stay with us and made a fuss about ut. Thankfully i had the email from the manager approving that which i was asked to forward right there and then. It was clearly an internal miscomunication which i found very unprofessional that they made the client aware of this in this way.
