Excellent Stay - exceeded expectations as didn’t expect much but actually was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, warm and had all the essentials – front desk efficient and helpful enough and the concierge and bell boys were also helpful and efficient with luggage collection/storage and assistance with unloading and loading upon check and check out. Breakfast was also good – def secure the $16 breaky when you book online as standard price is $38 in person on the day Would certainly visit again and they did recognise my Accor Silver membership

Room 405 where I stayed was clean and bright, with a clear view from my room. It has just about the right stuffs that you need in a hotel room, nothing extraordinary from an Ibis Hotel as expected, totally worth the price. Staffs are friendly and helpful, Mellinda helped us during the check in. Love the great location, within 5-10 minutes walk to the QV or Emporium. You can find the nearby tram station if you need to. I and my wife enjoyed our stay, and will consider to come again whenever we are in Melbourne.

Stayed in a basic room: it was small, but very clean, in good conditiom, of recent vintage, quite well equipped for the price, quiet, with a good bed and linens and fast wifi. Only slight niggle is that there's no cutlery, dishes or bowls, so if you get takeout, pick up some utensils. It's also very well located for access to central Melbourne: it's about 30 metres from the end of Hardware Lane, so there's plenty of places to eat, and there are other interesting laneways about, Southern Cross station is 1500 metres away, Flinders Station is easily walkable and the rest of the CBD is pretty much on your doorstep.

Probably this is one of the worst ÍBIS I have ever stayed . The only good thing about is its location. Checked in and they put me in a different room that I had booked. Then they changed me to a bigger room but the shower was leaking and room TV not working. TV was fixed but not the shower. I do not recommend . It definitely needs improvements.

On arrival I was asked for my credit card for check in. Here is your key sign here. The manager said ''I will send you the invoice for $ 959.23 Au dollars ??? My Agoda $750 Au dollars. 'PREPAID no REFUND' Booking was REFUSED. I was charged over $1700 au dollars for 5 nights. Management needs MONEY OR WHAT??? I complained = Sorry we are stiving to do better on your next booking. Most of the service staff are exchange students who will do anything for you so they don't get fired.
