Poor customer service. Due to flight cancellations beyond our control we could not make our booking. When contacting the accommodation and explaining the situation we requested a credit to stay at a different time. Flat out refused. The accomodation was paid for by family members as a birthday gift. Very disappointed with the outcome

Location good - hotel a bit tired.

The location is good - just behind DJ's and very central. But over all this is an average hotel that is now past its sell by date. Interiors are dated and a bit random. Not what I'd expect for the price given we've done better in Melbourne. At least our room was quiet.. aside from the aircon which sounded like a turboprop aircraft. Not sure we will be back again.

Positive notes - Friendly and helpful staff - Great location Critical notes - The rooms are not sound proof, i recomend bringing earplugs and eyeshades - I stayed 3 nights, they only clean the rooms every 3 nights. I wish they cleaned every other night. - My room had a window, but my view was a concrete wall

Breakfast was very good. Location excellent so close to shopping, China Town Victoria Market. Value excellent.Sleep quality was very good. Some problems with cleaning of rooms as short staff but spoke to Assistant Manager and all worked out fine. No acknowledgement of being Platinum very disappointed as only been platinum short time and never had anything connected to it given to me.

Hotel of choice when we visit Melbourne for a show.

Arrived early at 11-30 am. for a 1-00pm theatre show, due to country trains schedules. I was unable to request an early check in over the phone a few days before, but our room was available, which is always a big stress relief and an easy start to the stay. Complimentary drinks and a late check out always means we use this brand in Sydney and in Melbourne.
