I had a positive experience. The hotel location was great, the room was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed for a weekend stay.

The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous, the room was CLEAN and neat, wifi accessed no problems, the continental breakfast buffet at Pretty Boy was varied and well stocked. I really have nothing bad to say! Would totally recommend

Staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the cozy sofa and large TV. Shower was hot and strong and great amount of shelves and cupboards to store my things. I would definitely recommend and return myself.

Great location, walking distance to everything! Room well stocked with everything you need. Staff were lovely, just needed more of them on reception for the check in/out process.

I had 3 interactions with the front desk staff and each was terrible. Check in took about 15 minutes of waiting for 2 people in front of me because the lady was so slow; everyone including the guest being served were standing around waiting for her to type things into the system. Again I just wanted to ask about room service. Awfully long wait time of around the same time for not many guests ahead of me. Third time was when I went down at 3pm to ask for new sheets and my room to be made up. Again had to wait for a long time but the guy was friendly and said he would organise it. I returned at 9pm and it was still a mess and was told the housekeeping staff had all gone home and I had to change the sheets myself. I also tried calling the reception via the phone numerous times across my stay but no one ever picked up. Neither did the room service number. The only good thing was the location and cleanliness.

Apart from the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, It was a lovely stay, the compact room was well equipped and very comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great experience end to end. I didn't have a physical credit card with me as all on the handset - the checkin assistant handled this easily using my stored credit card on my profile. The room was great, the late checkout was most appreciated.

The location is great, rooms were clean and modern and beds were comfortable. Some areas for improvement would definitely be management communication. We checked in and were told we could park at the property for $60 but when we went to park in the carpark we were turned away due to the carpark being full. It would have been nice if we were told this when we checked in. We explained this to the concierge staff and they let us park in the waiting bay overnight which we were happy with. At 11:30pm there was a fire alarm, it was concerning that there was a lack of communication from staff to explain to guests where they needed to go. The siren said wait for instructions but after not hearing instructions we used the fire exit stairs ourselves and waited out the front for the fire authorities to okay us to return inside. After checking out, we went downstairs to the concierge desk to retrieve the car keys but there was a sign to collect them from the reception desk. Again, staff at checkout should have asked if we needed to collect our keys. Overall, it was an okay stay but staff need to improve their communication between different areas of the hotel because it did get frustrating. We also heard many other guests discussing the same issues as us.

Good location in CBD with access a little tight if travelling by car. Rooms on the smaller side and well appointed with most requirements. Bar & restaurant staff friendly & happy to assist and quite a few good options with meals as well.

Ibis Melbourne Central was the perfect location for a last minute overnight stay for me. Check in was prompt and seamless, my room was excellently appointed and sparkling clean. The bed was super comfortable, I had the best night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of selections, the hot cooked breakfast was spot on. In particular, the restaurant manager was professional, attentive and ensured the other staff were well trained. This is the first time in twelve months since COVID struck that I have seen this level of service in any restaurant/cafe. I enjoyed every minute. Thank you Ibis Melbourne Central, I look forward to my return.

I love this new hotel, this time it was nice and quiet due to low occupancy rate. However there is a problem with noisy heavy slamming room doors which needs to be resolved. The room is just gorgeous and the bed amazing. More attention needs to be paid to breakfast, (that used to be quite something) many items had dried out (pastry) and I wish there could be a little more choice.

A contemporary well presented hotel in the heart of the city. It is well located for different modes of public transport for ease of travel around the city, and has a great range of restaurants around. The staff are welcoming and made my stay very enjoyable. Rooms are warm and fitted out suitably, and I personally enjoy the chromecast feature of the TVs so i can watch my netflix or youtube while I'm getting ready for bed. I've stayed here a number of times and intend on coming back in the future. Great hotel with a decent price point for rooms.
