Not ready for travellers post Covid

We booked the hotel for 6 nights and they only cleaned our room once and it was upon request. Informing us at check-in that they are short staffed doesn't give them a license to reduce service standards when I'm paying the same price. They should have told us that we won't be getting the same value and we would have booked a different hotel.

One of my favourites in Melbourne, good staff, nice new rooms, always take care of Platinum members with upgrades and treats. Complimentary drinks are great, good to have a choice of Ibis or Novotel, will be back.

Everything you would expect from a Novotel. Its great hotel a short walk from Melbourne Central. The bathroom design is a little strange, but once you get past that, its a fantastic affordable hotel. I recommend it.

Loved nearly everything to do with my stay except finding out just before arrival that I had to park two blocks away. They need much better information on the booking website. Otherwise, my room was beautifully appointed and new. Once inside the hotel I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Very disappointing

This is probably not the place to say this but we booked for 2 nights and stayed one. We were given mixed messages of what was available and what was actually open. We could not get room service for breakfast and we couldn't dine in the restaurant.
