This is a nice place to stay, pretty much what you'd expect from an Ibis, nice clean rooms, helpful staff, etc. Some notes for people arriving by train, it's about two blocks from the station but they're very long blocks so if you've got a lot of luggage to haul you may want to consider taking a Bolt. The hotel itself shares a building with a Novotel, so head for that and go right from the entrance to the Ibis reception rather than left for the Novotel reception. The only slight gripe is that there's no refrigerator in the room for storing things like milk for your tea, but to their credit they do give you decent Dilmah tea.
