Pretty much everything about the hotel was good except that the room heating was not controllable for the night I stayed and it was too hot to sleep well. I know a colleague experience the same on a different floor. Probably a one off experience because I know others have stayed before without this issue.

Only 1 feedback: the housekeeping should come everyday to check the rooms. For example toiletpaper and new towels. Unfortunately we had to ask the reception because Our housekeeping didn’t check our rooms and we were there for two nights. It would’ve been a five if the housekeeping would’ve come every day.

Very tidy hotel, clean rooms, plenty of space. Fridge and a safe which is good. Comfy bed and great views from the high floors. Breakfast is fantastic.

Conveniently located just off Bochum Central Train Station (thus easily accessed from Dusseldorf Airport), it is a welcoming hotel that conveys freshness and tranquility. I stayed for one night, and booked a single room, which was spacious, and although simple, tastefully designed in earthy notes (lacking consistency though), ergonomic and comfortable; while the bathroom was more old-fashioned, but equally nice. The restaurant-bar and the lounge area were airy and slick and pleasant to hang around. Breakfast was fresh and nicely presented, but quite standard -no surprises here. But most important, the service has been impeccable in all aspects, with the personnel always being ready to assist. Overall, a smooth stay and an option I would reconsider, when back in town.
