The first room we were assigned smelled like a portable toilet that had overflowed. We moved to another room that had a scent of dirty diapers and mildew that was being covered by cheap room fragrance. I slept with a T-shirt over my mouth and nose to avoid the smell and woke up early to get out of there as soon as possible. Even the lobby and the garage smelled. Absolutely terrible experience.

The hotel is nice and within Ibis styles normal. Positive point is the machines where you can refill your water bottle for free, in every floor. Negative points: breakfast without scrambled eggs, the reason mentioned was that there is only one hot pan and is filled with bacon. Until there is bacon no scrambled eggs will be brought or available. For someone like me with dairy products allergy, this leaves me with very few options for breakfast. The second negative point is that as a gold accor member I have a free welcome drink that I could not use. The voucher was refused in the restaurant linked to the hotel.

We always chose this hotel to avoid the city center congestion so it is convenient for us! Rooms have bathtub instead of shower and the mattress is quite worn out... but we were told that the hotel will undergo a renovation in the next months so hopefully this will be solved and we will continue choosing it!

A good, comfortable stay at Ibis Styles A Coruña. The hotel was very clean, breakfast was excellent, and Greta Bar attached to the hotel was a great bonus. The location offers easy access to the shopping centre and the Estrella Galicia factory, while Uber made getting into the city centre quick and inexpensive. Not quite a destination hotel, but a solid choice overall.

Besides a few inconveniences with the front desk employee working the night shift, the overall experience was quite good. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities met expectations, and I enjoyed my stay. While there is room for improvement in the overnight customer service experience, the positive aspects of the hotel outweighed those issues.

Hotel rooms are a comfortable size with very good bathroom facilities. Public transport between the hotel site and main attractions actions in the city is frequent and efficient. Platinum membership did not appear to result in arrival benefits e.g. bottle of water in the room on arrival with a snack.

The location is neat The slaughterhouse so the smell outside is awful but the AC doesn't work so you sleep and suffocate. No minibar, no cups, no bathroom kits though it is a 4 star hotel. There is a water dispenser but you need to pay for a cup to pour water in. The receptionist refused to give a free cup or pour water. This is ridiculous. The breakfast was poor and tasteless. I don't know how ibis allows this hotel to function. Avoid! We left one night earlier than planned. Shame

The rooms are recently renovated and nice. However the hotel claims to be 4 stars, but lacks simple things like glasses for water in the room. Also no shampoo and conditioner - this is different to other Ibis hotels. No kettle. We got upgraded room and windows didn’t seem to close properly there

Fijn verblijf omdat we dit hotel enkel’dienden te gebruiken voor overnachting. Standaardkamer was voor 3 personen en 4 overnachtingen wel wat klein (vooral wat de opbergruimte betrof). Bedden lagen goed (wel spijtig dat het 3 éenpersoonsbedden waren). Badkamer was goed (maar wel douche in het bad). Ontbijt was ruimschoots voldoende (al zou een tweede koffie apparaat wel beter zijn geweest). We verbleven hier vorig jaar ook en merkten toen op dat een deurpomp het harde slaan van de deuren zou kunnen voorkomen. Spijtig genoeg werd hier niets mee gedaan. Om naar het centrum te gaan heb je een auto nodig. A coruna stad heeft elektrische fietsen. Misschien ook de mogelijkheid onderzoeken om een fietsenstalling aan het hotel te plaatsen.
