The property is well maintained at both thr common areas viz lobby. Lifts and restaurants as well as rooms. Rooms were well stocked with most essentials. Front desk is manned with decent and courteous staff. Special mention of Dhruba who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Keep it going, hope to come again. Cheers !

Excellent staff and courteous behaviour. Sri Dhruva and Smt. Priyanka of Front Desk were on their toes to make our stay at Novotel Guwahati extremely comfortable. We were first allotted Room no 701 which had a miserable view, with windows opening in the kitchen of adjacent property and on our request Sri Dhruv changed our room to 712 with a grand city view. Monotosh, Beautiful Lady from Shillong ( I am not able to pronounce her name) and Ms. Khusida( Beautiful Lady from Manipur) even curated an assamese cuisine lunch for us on 23/4/2026 which again was a memorable experience. Sri Akash in the dinning was generous enough to preserve our breakfast on 22/4/2026 as we went to Kamakhya Mandir and could not attend the breakfast schedule. We would like to re-live the total experience. Only a slight demur- the rooms on the corridor side of Room no-701 have a miserable view and opens into the windows of kitchen and rooms of other establishment. That, however is a necessary evil which has to be accepted owing to the land alignment. Further the Room Card which activated the lift and facilitated room entry needs to be properly set so that they do not malfunction frequently.

I’m giving an overall rating of 9/10, mainly because as an Accor employee I understand how important it is to achieve targets. Everything was good overall, except for one concern: I found an insect in my room. I came down to the reception and informed Shahnaz (if I recall correctly) and showed her the video. She asked me to take a picture, which was fine, however there was no apology, no action taken, and no follow-up from the housekeeping team (such as changing the linen). This was the only aspect of my stay that I found unacceptable.
