The location of the Hotel is in a crowded locality, this is causing the guest to cross huge traffic jams before reacing to the hotel. Few staffs were not using mask while doing guest interaction and at the time of room service as well. Rooms are okay and as per the standard. Breakfast was highly unorganised and the hotel staff is extremly poor at crowd management. I'll not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Fantastic, staff behaviour nice. Check out experience was not good.

It was pleasant staying in your property at Guwahati from 4th Oct till 8th Oct 2021. The staff was excellent and took good care of me and sure to return on frequent visits of mine & recommend to my colleagues. However, I had some experience during my checkout, which could have been avoided in a property like yours. 1. The price of 3 days is Rs 5699 /day , and 4th day was Rs 5999 . While enquiry, I was told that the rate is variable one and even mail from our admin will not do. I extended my stay by one day verbally on 7th Oct as I was on route visit. During my career, I didn’t face similar variable corporate rate in any hotel in India and abroad. 2. The checkout took more than 40 mins on 8th Oct 2021, at 11:05 hrs . No other guest was checking in/out at that time. 3. I confirmed my corporate address & GST number at 8:00 am on 8th Oct, but was not updated while checking out at 11:00 hrs 4. While handing over final bill to me, I was handed over the bills and supporting documents in hand ( even an unrated hotel receptionist puts the documents in envelope before handing over) 5. No news paper in the hotel 6. There is no Bill Number on Invoice ( attached for reference ) Rest of the points were ignored, if first point would have not there. I felt to share my experience with you as a feedback and you may look into it for improvement.

Services were pretty much delayed for everything. Had to call up at least 3 times for one thing. Guest services people were quite ignorant on calls. I have been staying in 5 stars for ages now and this was certainly not up to the mark regarding services.

Well located, staffs are friendly and helpful, food is bad, and not requirement are also not available in room like comb brush sleepers nothing was available have to ask everything

It was okok . It far below other novotels i stayed in. Staffs are very helpful and well behaved. Food is bad , wasnt expecting that. Rooms are not served with essential things like brush , comb , sleepers.

My experience was good but it could have been great. The only thing that dampened my stay was that the tv had no channels working on it. Despite the bringing to the front desk attention there was no action on it till my stay lasted. The day I was completely room bound it became quiet a boredom without tv. People expect news and sports channels working to keep one self updated. The food was good, just add few items on jain menu and more eggless deserts would be welcomed delight. Had a good time otherwise.

Few casual misunderstandings. 1. Woken up at 4 am by a hotel employee by mistake (saying we had asked for water)! (Had informed the front desk about incident). 2. Wash basin was fully blocked. Hotel staff cleared it. 3. Misunderstanding by front desk about additional booking of one day (Paid for and booked earlier)! Otherwise Good Stay!

They hotel is located at the heart of Guwahati thus has an edge over its competitors I.e Taj and Radisson. But the biggest let down is the behavior of the staff who make you feel unwelcome and lack basic etiquette. The in-room dining service is sloppy as I had to call twice and wait for an hour just to get the menu,further when I ordered it took an equally long time to get the item delivered hence I was dejected with the in room dining service and refrained from ordering anything else. Another incident which illustrates the lackadaisical attitude of the front desk staff is as follows, My room key card had become invalid on the second day of my stay as the front desk staff had programmed in the wrong duration of the stay at the time of checkin, I was able to enter my room with the assistance of room sanitation staff who had a master key. After entering I called up the front desk and informed them about the malfunctioning key card,they assured me that they would send a replacement key card to my room in a few minutes, but even after an hour had passed since the call, the card was not delivered hence I called again,the receptionist said he would deliver it to my room in 5 minutes and there was no need to worry.So again I waited for another hour but there was no card,finally I called for the third time to get a similar false assurance. Ultimately after calling 3 times and waiting for almost 4 hours I personally went down to the reception to collect the key card.When I enquired as to why it took such a long time and why I had to come down to collect the card despite their assurances that they would send it to my room,they were smirking and completely unapologetic, this sort of rude behavior is not expected from the staff of an establishment in the hospitality business. Further the restaurant staff seemed quite untrained ,in one instance I asked for a spoon as there was none on my table and the waiter rudely asked me to collect it myself from the buffet counter. In a another incident I had asked for a dessert spoon as there was none placed at the buffet counter but was handed a large soup spoon and was asked to make do with it. I am deeply disappointed with my stay at Novotel Guwahati. Better behavior and etiquette are expected from the staff of a luxury hotel.

First i was given room where the AC was not working , Then my insistence another room was allocated . The process from reception to finally getting the room with working AC took 45- 50 minutes . Also no room service menu as there and again after asking the reception got a whatsapp after 15 minutes .

Charged my card without consent and in the wrong currency. The person who checked me in said one thing and did something else. The person checking out resisted adding my Le Club number to the trip record. He said the trip will not count towards stays as the booking was through; which feels not true. I wanted to feed back to Acvor; but they don't seem to have a mechanism to raise a complaint to in a timely manner. So disappointed! Overall Guwahati Novotel doesn't do justice to the Novotel brand. The IT help desk guy was quite helpful though to rectify the slow Internet connection.

The stay was comfortable. I was wrongly charged Rs 5000 as smoking charges. The front desk staff while checkout provided the bill when I requested for a proof of the same they was unable to provide any proof and insisted that since there is a posting of the bill I have to pay the charges or they will call police if I deny to pay. I was pretty surprised with this kind of behavior. I have paid the amount but I feel this is not a justice done to me.

Staff is cooperative and helpful. They take good care. The hotel is situated at a location near to city. Good for business stay and food is ok. Need to work on food quality and rooms are nice but can be improved.
