Scared that I was locked out

The hotel and breakfast were fine but I attended an event and returned to the hotel at 1:30. The door was locked. No one answered the phone. Thankfully a friend was nearby and came to my rescue. It was scary. I called and called. I also buzzed the buzzer. Nothing! Finally someone answered. He said that he couldn’t hear the phone because he was setting up breakfast. He should be able to hear the phone. I thought I was left outside in the middle of the night. Please find a solution (a portable phone??) so that this doesn’t happen to someone else. Too bad as everything else was fine.

Happy with the accommodation provided, however I booked for a single person but was charged for two. When I pointed out the error I was told nothing could be done. Not good.
